Highlights
As previously stated in the Gamechangers article, Grayson was by far the best defensive back and had the most consistent day. From making plays in the position drills to showing off his fluid movement skills Grayson impressed everyone who had a chance to watch him. His size also stood out, looking every bit of 6’0ft 160 with a massive 76-inch wing span.
His performance during the one-on-ones was the icing on the cake. Where he got the opportunity to show off his ball skills and athleticism. Grayson had the best showing out of the defensive backs and showed he’s a high-end prospect.
Moore was another defensive back with good size and length. At 6’0 and a long frame I thought he moved well in the defensive back drill for the most part. However, I didn’t come away as impressed with his showing in the one-on-one portion but did see some traits that can be molded. He’s currently only a sophomore and has two more important years of development. I’d like to see him improve on his change of direction going forward.
Willie Stewart is a sticky cover player with solid measurables. His tape is significantly better than the camp showing. However, his versatility will be tantalizing for any coach to sit and ponder the possibilities. His tape is what landed him on this list, and as a sophomore, I believe his outlook as a prospect is high enough to be a potential Power 5 prospect.
Highlights
Ortiz looked good in the position drills and also looked like he was getting better with his anticipation of breaks as the camp went on. He’s a quick twitch player and can cover a lot of space. Ortiz already has an offer from UCONN and as a sophomore, he has room to get even better.
