Doing these analysis allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Austin Varga, ATH- Saint Stephens Episcopal c/o 25
6’5 195lbs
Varga is a rising Junior and really had a very good sophomore season, finishing second in the Freelance Division with 10 sacks. He also added 27 tackles, four tackles for loss and a fumble recovery. He’s a two sport athlete that also play soccer. Has a good size and frame to grow into a prospect to keep an eye on the next few seasons.
Strengths:
- Quick get off
- Flashes the ability to be disruptive
- Length allows him to keep blockers at a distance
Marvin Palominos OL- Out-of-Door Academy c/o 23
6’2 300lbs
Palominos is an up and coming lineman out of Sarasota, Florida. He’s a young player that shows a lot of potential and had a very good season making the SSAC 1st team All-South. He helped pave the way for an outstanding rushing attack for the Thunder that led to a 9-1 regular season record and into the second round of the state playoffs. Player to keep an eye on the next few seasons.
Strengths:
- Physical in the run game
- Plays with a mean streak
- Hunts targets and looks to impose his will
Griffin DeRusso, RB- Out-of-Door Academy c/o 23
5’11 190lbs
DeRusso was one of the best overall players in the SSAC this season. He was nominated for the Bradenton Herald’s Manatee County High School football player of the year award. On the season he rushed for 1,444 yards and 19 touchdowns! The averaged over 144 yards per game; with nine 100 yard rushing games. Coaches need to check him out, this is definitely a player that can play at the next level. He is also a two sport athlete (Baseball) with a 3.83 GPA.

- Good vision
- Contact balance
- Lateral agility
Nolan Hollinger, WR- Jupiter Christian High c/o 24
5’10 160lbs
Hollinger was a big time playmaker for Jupiter Christian this season. He was a big part of an Eagle’s offense that helped Jupiter Christian reach the second round of the state playoffs. On the season he finished with 41 catches for 641 yards, averaging over 15 yards per reception with seven touchdown catches. He also chipped in on the defensive side of the ball with an interception and returned three punts that averaged over 40 yards per return. Hollinger is a good student with a 3.6 GPA.

- Quickness
- Run after the catch
- Route running
