Doing these analysis allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Mitchell McNeely- Cocoa Beach High c/o 23
6’1 220lbs
McNeely is a good football player and a highly decorated former 3A player of the year in 2021. He was outstanding again in 2022 leading the division with 111 tackles and averaging 14 tackles per game. He chipped in with 4 sacks, 27 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles. McNeely is a solid linebacker prospect that trusts his eyes and doesn’t get caught out of position, solid tackler that wraps up targets effectively, shows good quickness to the football. He currently has several small school offers.
Jonathan Servin- Interlachen High c/o 23
5’11 195lbs
Servin had a very good season for the Interlachen Rams in 2022. He led the team with 98 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, five sacks, one int and three forced fumbles. He’s a three sport athlete that also participates in soccer and track. Servin is very physical against the run and plays bigger than his size, shows good short area quickness and acceleration, he’s an attacking machine that works hard to make contact on each snap. Good small school prospect.
Dertavius Mack- Interlachen High c/o 23
6’2 206lbs
Mack and Servin formed one of the best linebacker tandems in the conference. Mack finished with 83 tackles, an outstanding 23 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries! Mack has excellent acceleration and covers a lot of ground quickly, he’s has a terrific closing burst to the football and is very good using his hands to swat away blocks, smart and instinctive player. Over the summer picked up offers from Ave Maria, Thomas More, and Clark University.
Anthony Self- Cocoa Beach High c/o 25
5’7 160lbs
Self is a sophomore that really turned heads for Cocoa Beach this season. He finished fourth in the conference with 71 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 5 QB hurries, one fumble recovery and a blocked punt. Self doesn’t have a lot of Hudl film, but he is a twitchy player that is extremely fast out of his stance, does a good job shooting gaps and getting into the backfield, despite his size he shows a willingness to play physical. He’s a player to keep an eye on the next few seasons.
