Shanley was the MVP of the WR group after dominating his matchups in 1v1s. He impressed as a route-runner, showing ability to get a clean release at the LOS and create separation out of his break. He’s quick and sudden with his movement against press coverage and varies speeds to keep DBs on their heels. He showed good ball-tracking downfield and finished plays with soft, sure hands. Shanley should continue to raise his stock as the top returning WR for San Clemente next season.
Bordeaux was one of the most athletic skill-position players at the showcase. He’s a technical receiver that’s efficient in his movement and stays low driving through his breaks. He’s a natural hands-catcher that showed great hand-eye coordination and body control at the catch point. Bordeaux’s an under-the-radar WR prospect with strong ties to HBCU Grambling St. (older brother plays WR) and has drawn interest from Hawaii.
Highlights
Naudin was a leading receiver for Servite as a sophomore last season and a returning showcase participant. He showed growth as a route-runner creating separation with his front-end releases and selling his routes at the break. He absorbs the ball and can make catches in tight coverage. He tested at or above every average in each category among receivers. If Naudin continues to develop physically- and with his level of skill and production- he could end up a major stock-riser among 2025 WRs in SoCal next season.
Highlights
Otteson led his team in receiving yards (500) and TDs (7) as a junior. He posted the best broad jump at the showcase with a 9’6”, and was in the top-3 among WRs in the L-Drill at 7.65. He showed light, quick feet at the LOS in 1v1s and ability to track the ball downfield. On film, he’s an effective deep threat that gets vertical and competes for the ball at its highest point and can pick up chunks of yards after the catch with good downhill speed.
