Wonderlick is a lengthy center who has some upper body strength and can probably put up more weight than his Hudl bio suggests. His pass protection is solid but he is usually uncovered playing against even fronts.
I’d like to see him drive his feet through contact more when run blocking. He has the size, strength and motor to be a college offensive lineman. I am excited to see him in agility drills and in one-on-ones.
Hughes earned All-League honors as a sophomore and started at center for Aliso Niguel this season. He has good football instincts and knows when to stay on the double team and when to bounce to the next level.
One thing I’d like to see him work on is his pad level. He runs a bit high in pass protection and when bouncing to the second level and a strong linebacker may be able to take advantage of that. But Hughes is young and one of the most promising class of 2025 offensive linemen in the county.
Mao got significant playing time as a sophomore for one of the top public school teams in the state. He is an elite run blocker already and will only improve as he adds strength.
His footwork is good and he goes a good job keeping his hips square in pass protection. He is one of the top linemen in his class and I am excited to see him in action on Sunday.
Torgeson is a big left tackle who moves pretty well for his size. His footwork is solid in pass protection and he can get up the field on screens.
He will be one of the better offensive linemen at the event on Sunday and was First Team All-Ventura County. Torgeson took visits to Fresno State and Northern Arizona.
Highlights
Kugler is a big lineman who attended the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase last year and performed well. He is another year stronger and another year more experienced.
His footwork is solid and he works with good offensive line coaches in the offseason and at Trabuco Hills. I am excited to see if his speed and agility numbers improve a bit from last year.

Raman Valizade
Raman Valizade
Valizade was the starting left tackle for Aliso last season. He is an excellent pass protector with very good footwork.
He’s one of those guys that works hard, has the fundamentals down and will benefit greatly from a good offseason in the weight room.
Valizade was First Team All-Sea View League last season.
