North Shore Mustangs Jacoby Davis Jacoby Davis 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB North Shore | 2023 State TX Sr 5’11 175 lbs
I can name several qualities Jacoby Davis Jacoby Davis 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB North Shore | 2023 State TX has, but one trait that standouts are that he is a phenomenal athlete. North Shore played man coverage the whole game and Jacoby was always on his man allowing no separation between them. Although, North Shore lost one of the main reasons why they were able to compete was because of Jacoby. Jacoby was able to prevent two touchdowns by deflecting passes and even caught an interception. I noticed Jacoby’s outstanding talents last season and he has only improved since then and has become one of the top cornerbacks in Texas.

Clear Lake Falcons Hunter Moddon Hunter Moddon 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Clear Lake | 2024 State TX Jr 6’1 175 lbs
If I were to describe Hunter Moddon Hunter Moddon 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Clear Lake | 2024 State TX I would say he is quick, fast, speedy, and swift. Hunter plays on both sides of the ball on offense he is a wide receiver and on defense a cornerback. With Hunter’s speed, he dominates at both positions being faster than everyone on the opposing team. When Hunter lined up as a cornerback he had great coverage sticking close to his man and not allowing any space. If the opportunity presented itself Hunter would get in front of an incoming pass and intercept for many yards gained. Hunter is a terrifying athlete I’m expecting a lot from him in his upcoming senior season.

North Shore Mustangs Devin Sanchez Devin Sanchez 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB North Shore | 2025 State TX So 6’2 180 lbs
It is extremely rare to see a tall and long limbs cornerback like Devin Sanchez Devin Sanchez 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB North Shore | 2025 State TX . Devin is incredibly quick and fast providing a no-fly zone not allowing any passes to come through. Devin in his sophomore year is already a 5-star athlete overwhelming every wide receiver he comes across. When I interviewed Devin last season he told me “I went to North Shore because they fit my play style of defense and man coverage.” Devin is an athlete that knows what he wants and still having two more years of high school football Devin will be a big name in Texas.

Hightower Hurricanes Chisom Onwuzurigbo Chisom Onwuzurigbo 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Hightower HighSchool | 2023 TX Sr 6’1 175 lbs
Chisom Onwuzurigbo Chisom Onwuzurigbo 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Hightower HighSchool | 2023 TX is a phenomenal defensive cornerback. Chisom was providing great coverage not allowing too much separation between him and his man. Chisom has great game sense while covering his man he can still read the quarterback and see the trajectory of his passes. Chisom used this to his advantage by gaining a lot of interceptions throughout the season and even scoring two pick-six touchdowns. Chisom was the backbone of Hightower’s defense it is unfortunate that his high school football career is over, but I won’t be surprised to see Chisom continuing his football career at the collegiate level.
