Jermell Chaney, Collins
Chaney is a true linebacker. He stands very tall when he is watching over the line of scrimmage. This guy knows how to step in the hole to make hits. He is a guy that gives his trench guys in front of him a lot of hope. They know as long as they can make a push he will come with the plug. Chaney has a power five frame. I think he needs to use this summer to get his name out there more. When people see him they can see he is ready to ball. I think a school should give this kid a chance. He is a baller.
Kendall Sanders, Louisville
Sanders is a guy his teammates call Wild Man. The reason why is cause he is always making big hits. He was a star in the 4A state championship last season. Sanders was making big hits on defense and scored some touchdowns on offense. He showed why he is one of most underrated linebackers in his class. Sanders isn’t the tallest and biggest guy, but he is a dog. I think he has a chance to be a great G5 player on the next level. He has power five talent, but his size may be a factor. He has a big heart and fears no one. That means a lot on the gridiron.
Ryan McCall Ryan McCall 5'11" | 215 lbs | LB Madison Central | 2024 State MS , Madison Central
McCall is a guy that was calling shots for his defense his sophomore season. He showed a lot of people he was going to be great that year. He is a guy that doesn’t quite Crack 6-0 tall, but he has good size at 215. McCall does not mind coming up to make those big blows you want inside linebackers to make. He has a good football IQ. You won’t see him out of position a lot. He is definitely one of the most underrated linebackers in Mississippi. He is a guy coaches need to talk to. McCall is a great leader for his defense. Remember his name.
Eric Moore, Ocean Springs
Moore is a stud. This kid knows how to play the linebacker position. He knows how to read keys well. He does not mind sticking his nose in running backs’ business. Moore is a good form tackler. He knows how to make good tackles in open field. He also can do well in coverage. Moore is another guy flying under the radar in Mississippi. He is a guy that coaches need to talk to. He also has good size. Moore has the size and talent to play power five football. I’m anxious to see how his offseason goes.
