Mehki Gaddis
Mehki Gaddis
Mehki has been recognized as one of the top RBs in his district. Mehki has shown special ability to find running lanes and pierce through the defense. Gaddis has found success early on in his career as he rushed for over 1,700 yards this season with an average of 5.8 yards per carry. Mehki is expected to be Rocket’s main running back this next season and to surpass his performance of this year. If he continues his upward trajectory Mehki could be one of the top running backs in his class.
Kegan Ruff
Kegan Ruff
Kegan helped his team achieve a 7-5 record for the season and a spot in the playoffs in a highly competitive district. Ruff averaged over 7 yards per carry and 126 yards per game. Kegan played in a manner that allowed for him to break tackles and fall forward for positive yardage. This type of athlete in the backfield is what stresses the defense and can open up the playbook for coordinators. Kegan is an excellent athlete who should continue to improve throughout the seasons.
Christopher Riley
Christopher Riley
Christopher Riley is one of those athletes who can do it all. Some may describe him as a running back who can throw the ball while others may call him a dual threat QB. Nevertheless what is clear is that Riley is electric with the ball in his hands. Christopher does have the ability to run the ball which is why he averaged over 10 yards per carry and was explosive with every attempt. This athlete has great potential due to his versatility and production.
Zion Nunn Zion Nunn 5’9″ | 185 lbs | RB Booneville | 2025 State MS is a running back who has already proven his consistency and value. In both his freshmen and sophomore year Nunn was close to breaking the 1,000 yard mark as he rushed for over 6.5 yards per carry both seasons. This is notable because due to his excellent years prior he can now rest in knowing that his consistency is clear. Now all that is left is for Zion to keep doing what he does best and continue to improve. If he does this he will certainly see some offers come his way.
