CJ Britt – 6’1″ 170 – Lanier Christian Academy / @CJ__Britt
Freshman Stats: 124-188 , 1,880 YDS, 25 TD, 5 INT
Shows a pretty good feel for pressure. Able to climb the pocket and buy time. Tough enough to stand in and take a hit. Throws from a stable base and transfers weight effectively. Has a high release point and consistent follow-through. Sound decision-maker who limits questionable throws. Shows the ability to make anticipatory throws, and throw receivers open. Trusts his arm strength and doesn’t need to see wide-open receivers to throw. Arm talent is very good, with the ability to crank up the velocity as needed. Passes come with appropriate touch. Can drop passes in the bucket down the sidelines. Beautiful timing, touch, and placement on his back-shoulder throws
Russell Simpson – 5’6″ 187 – Creekside Christian Academy / @rbu_russ
Freshman Stats: 121 ATT, 702 YDS, 8 TD
Has good patience and vision, with very quick feet to shuffle and find lanes between the tackles. Efficiently moves through tight spaces to find yardage. Refrains from bouncing too many runs outside. Shows good contact balance and the ability to make defenders miss in space; very nice jump cuts make him difficult to bring down. Finishes runs by lowering the shoulder, driving his legs after contact, and falling forward.
Aryn Grant – 6’0″ 190 – Calvary Christian HS / @sh0wtimeazariah
Freshman Stats: 112 ATT, 562 YDS, 10 TD
Solid athlete who’s fast enough to outrun defenders to the edge, and has good burst/acceleration to hit the hole. Patient player who lets things develop and makes good decisions. Works well through congestion. Makes pretty sharp cuts when stretching the defense laterally. Nice vision and footwork to recognize and hit cutback lanes.
