There are a few guys that we can introduce you all to this year. We are going to start out with some skilled positions, and then go on to the trenches. Let’s check it out.
Chas Dupree – QB – 6’2″ 160 – Southwest HS
Even though Dupree has 13 interceptions, he has some impressive numbers as a freshman. He has relaxed footwork on his drops without a heel click. Gets the ball out on time in the quick game. Throwing mechanics look good, with a high release point. Looks calm under pressure. Throws a catchable ball with appropriate touch, solid placement, and a tight spiral. Can’t wait to see this young man grow, he has a bright future!
Bam Glover – QB – 5’9″ – Northeast HS / @Bam1on1
Throws a very catchable ball with a tight spiral and appropriate touch. Has enough arm strength to fit the ball into tight windows. Shows some ability to make anticipatory throws. Checks down when his primary read is covered. Gets appropriate arc on his deep throws. Can’t wait to see what Glover has in store in the future.
