Who are they? Let’s take a look…
D’ontae Fulton – Worth County
In the Albany area, there’s the small town of Sylvester where you’ll find one of the more underrated 2025 wideouts across the state. D’ontae Fulton, a shift playmaker with plenty of speed and reliable hands, was excellent in as a sophomore last season and was one of the more productive receivers in Southwest Georgia. He showed quick feet, great burst up the field, and the ability to score anytime he has the ball. He’s a vertical option down the field, but he’s also a dependable option in the screen game. The Worth County star has thee potential to take over games and showed it every Friday night. He caught 61 passes as a sophomore last year for 910 yards and 11 touchdowns, one of the most productive seasons for any sophomore receiver across the state. He flashed consistently all year and showed easy D1 potential. In his last game of the season, Fulton caught 10 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns. Look for him to catch even more passes on his way to a breakout junior season in 2023. Don’t be surprised if has some serious D1 interest when next season comes around.
Jamauri Brice – Cartersville
An explosive receiver who is great after the catch, it’s hard to find another 2025 receiver in North Georgia quite like the playmaking wideout from Cartersville. The Purple Hurricanes are always pumping out D1 talent and Brice absolutely showed thee ability to play at the next level down the road. He made a big impact as a sophomore last year and did it for one of the top programs in all of North Georgia. The 5-foot-10 170-pounder was as good as it gets in the 2025 class last year, coming in 3rd in receiving yards among all sophomores last year with 850 receiving yards. However, what he does best is find the end-zone. Brice was a scoring machine throughout the year, catching a touchdown pass in six different games. He’s dangerous after the catch, has above average speed, and has great body control in the air. He catches the ball at it’s highest point and does a nice job of bringing the ball into his body to secure the catch. He’s a big play waiting to happen and he’s bound for a gigantic junior season next fall for an excellent Cartersville team.
DJ Avery – Chattahoochee
A true vertical threat and one of the top 2025 wide receivers in Fulton County, Avery flashed D1 potential on a consistent basis all season long last year as a sophomore. A promising route-runner and someone who always finds a way to get behind the defense, Avery has a knack for making big plays down thee field. He’s a natural pass-catcher and does a great job of catching the ball over his shoulder. It was a tough season for Chattahoochee overall, but Avery was a bright spot all year as a sophomore. He was tough to handle for defensive backs on a weekly basis, catching 63 total passes for 840 yards and 5 touchdowns. He ended the season on a strong note, catching 19 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns in his final two games of the season. He’s a true breakout candidate for the 2023 season as a junior.
