Marks is terrrific in man to man coverage and can mirror wide receivers with ease. He has quick calm feet and has excellent stop-start speed. Marks has very goood receovery speed and can turn and run with wide receviers even after breaking in on a pump fake. Marks does a great job of turning his head when making plays on the football to avoid pass interference. I love watching him fly up and make open field tackles and he is fearless when it comes to taking on blockers. His play strength is very good and he can shed blockers with ease and make tackles. For a young player, he can recognize routes such as seeing screens develop and come up and make a play. You can tell his coaching staff has a lot of trust in his abilities to leave him one-one in man coverage frequently. I am a huge fan of his game and guruantee he will continue to get college offers.
#14 DiJon Wilson DiJon Wilson 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB River Rouge | 2026 State | River Rouge | Hudl
Wilson does a good job of dropping into the deep middle at free safety in cover 3. He shows the ability to break on underneatth routes and can deliver a big hit to knock the football loose. I love that Wilson is always playing the football and ensuring the pass is not completed. Wilson has the speed to get to the deep third behind the corner and help ove the top if needed. His ball skills are good and he will come down with intercpetions. He shows good hip fluidity and can back pedal quickly so he can be deeper than opposing wide receveirs. Wilson takes very good angles when tackling and ensures that the ball carriers cannot make him miss.

Like DiJon Wilson DiJon Wilson 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB River Rouge | 2026 State , George Duggins George Duggins 6'3" | 195 lbs | DB Mona Shores | 2026 State plays primarily free safety. He is quick to read where run plays are going and then trusting his speed to fly up and take a proper angle to the ball carrier. He does a good job of wrapping up and making sure the ball carrier will be taken down. His ball skills are very good and he can intercept tipped passes with no problem. He has good size at 6-3, 180 lbs. Duggins also plays offense too and is a very good slot back who can create nice yardage after the catch. Duggins has a nice skill set and will continue to get better next year as a sophomore.
#22 Emory Jones III Emory Jones III 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Cass Tech | 2026 State | Detroit Cass Tech | Hudl
Jones is very good in zone coverage and can drop back into his zone with ease. He has fluid hips and can turn an run with wide receivers. Jones is not afraid to get physial with wide receveirs and does it in a manner where it is not excessive and will be penalized. Jones has good recovery speed and can run and make plays on the ball even if the receiver gets behind him intially. Jones can recognize routes and on his tape he recognized a wheel route quickly and made a play on the football, coming down with and interception. Jones does a great job of turning his head so he can find the football while it’s in the air. He is a great football player who I look forward to watching next season.
