Carmello Murphy- Mandarin High c/o 23
5″10 185lbs
Murphy was a tackling machine in 2022 for Mandarin High. Murphy was a first team all-conference selection. He led the district by wide margin registering 129 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 15 hurries and one force fumble. He averaged over 14 tackles a game. Murphy is a sideline to sideline player with acceleration to the ball, shows the physicality to fill the hole and, can blitz and slip past blockers easily, high IQ recognition skills. Murphy has several small school offers.
CJ Allen- Sandalwood High c/o 24
5’11 205lbs
Allen performed at a high level this season for Sandalwood. He finished second in the district with 84 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one int. Allen averaged over nine tackles per game. Allen’s film is impressive, he’s a physical thumper, gets downhill in a hurry and looks to punish ball carriers. He has the ability to flex out into space and has the athleticism, and speed to defend against spread offenses. He was the first team all-conference selection. He’s also smart in the classroom with a 3.32 GPA.
Elijah Bell- Atlantic Coast High c/o 23
6’0 218lbs
Bell was a definite bright spot for Atlantic Coast in 2022. He finished third in the district with 79 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, and a fumble recovery. Bell is a linebacker that shows some range in the open field, flashes the ability to time up his blitz, and has the ability to rock back blockers and get to the ball. Bell picked up two small school offers in November.
Jackson Copeland- Mandarin High c/o 24
6’1 220lbs
Copeland had a solid season in 2022. The Junior prospect finished 4th in the district with 77 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 18 QB hurries and two forced fumbles. Copeland is a well-built linebacker with good size, he has good football intelligence, does a good job using his hands and being physical at the point of attack, smart player that rarely gets caught out of position and shows good burst to the ball. He’s an outstanding student with a 4.5 GPA!
Kaleb Tankard- Sandalwood High c/o 23
6’0 190lbs
Tankard teamed up with Allen this season to form one of the better linebacker duos in the district. Tankard finished 5th in the district this season registering 74 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and averaged over seven tackles per game. Tankard is very physical for his size, shows really good acceleration to the football, has the sideline to sideline range to track players down, has the speed and athleticism to move to safety at the next level. He’s also a good student with a 4.0 GPA.
