<p>The defensive linemen in the latest update of the 2025 rankings are incredibly active and can move around at the point of attack. On offense, we had a quarterback who has the potential to put up huge numbers as he continues to grow.</p>

<p>Jefferson is an attacking, downhill defensive lineman who takes solid angles to the ball. What was impressive in watching his film is that he uses his size and athletic ability to defeat blocks quickly, many times before the back can really get going. If he can't plug up the holes against the run, he'll chase down the ball carrier if the play is nearby and make the tackle. He finished the 2022 season with 110 tackles, 9 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 2 pass breakups.</p>

<p>Massey will shoot the gap and for the ball carrier, it's a tackle for loss more times than not. His pursuit is fun to watch and the way he can move in space and sack the quarterback makes him someone to watch as we head into 2023. He finished the 2022 season as the team leader in tackles with 67.5 tackles, with 10 ½ of them for a loss.</p>

<p>The thing that stands out about Polk when you turn on the tape right away is pocket presence. He can stand in the pocket and make the throw, whether it's faking a screen and throwing it deep or throwing the vertical route for six points. His offensive line did an excellent job throughout the 2022 season of keeping him protected. Standing at 6'3, he is a great fit in the Air Raid spread offense that his team runs. He completed 67% of his passes, throwing for 3301 yards and 37 touchdowns.</p>
