Akylin Dear, RB, Quitman
Dear is a very good running back that has a great combination of speed and quickness. This young man also has a lot of size. I love to watch him play the game. He knows how to explode when he hits the hole. He also can get behind those pads. That’s very hard for a running back with his height to do. He is a 6-foot plus back that weights around 190. This kid is going to be a monster over the next two year. Expect for his name to become very popular. He is a stud.
Keyshawn Ben, ATH, Choctaw Central
Keyshawn Ben is very nice on the gridiron. The thing is a lot of people don’t know who he is. He plays for Choctaw Central which is on an Indian Reservation near Neshoba County. This young man had over 2000 all purpose yards and 23 TDs last season. He even had three touchdowns against the 4A State Champs, Louisville. He is a stud that needs to be talked about. Ben has great speed. He also is naturally a good route runner. Imagine what he can do with the right training. He is a player I’m looking forward to seeing get offers soon. He deserves it.
Terence Gaines Terence Gaines 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Mortimer Jordan | 2025 State AL , RB, Mortimar Jordan
Gaines is a very good running back that knows how to tote the rock. He has good speed and quickness. He brings a nice spark to his team with his hard runs. Gaines also has some good hands out of the backfield. That is always a good sign to see from running backs. He understands defenses well. He also does not mind stepping up to make a block for his quarterback. I can see this young man doing some very great things over the next couple of years. I definitely think he is a player to keep up with.
Cedric Nixon, DE/OLB, Park Crossing,
Nixon is very good from the edge. I am going to enjoy watching how his body develops. If he stays around 6-foot-1, he will be a very good outside linebacker. If he continues to gain height with weight, he will be a good edge player. He uses his hands very well. Nixon is a guy that loves getting sacks. He also has the range to chase down runners. Nixon knows how to make good open field tackles. He is an absolute dude. He is one to pay attention to over the next couple of years.
