The top signal-callers directed their offensive units and compiled impressive stats throughout the season. I am doing a review of the top 5 quarterbacks in the class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='91362' first='Jadyn' last='Davis'] - 6'0" 185 (No. 1 QB, No. 2 Overall), Providence Day HS</strong>. Jadyn led a high-powered offensive unit throughout the season. He led the team to the NC Division 1 State Championship. Jadyn completed 221 passes for 3,425 yards and 43 TDs. He averaged 285.4 yards per game and 15.5 yards per pass. He completed 72.5 percent of his passes throughout the season along with 6 interceptions. Jadyn finished the season with a QB rating of 140.6. He was named to the 2022 Max Preps Junior All-America Team. Jadyn was named the Gatorade NC Player of the Year. Mason directed a high-powered offensive unit throughout the season. He led the team to the Eastern Regional 4A Championship game. Mason completed 241 passes for 4,063 yards and 38 TDs. He averaged 270.9 yards per game and 16.9 yards per pass. He completed 58 percent of his passes along with 13 interceptions. Mason finished the season with a QB rating of 108.7. He finished the season as NC leader in passing yards. Mason has been named to several All-State Teams. He was one of the finalists for the Gatorade NC Player of the Year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Johnathan Montague Jr. - 6'1" 195 (No. 3 QB, No. 10 Overall), Knightdale HS</strong>. Johnathan is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the class. He completed 97 passes for 1,713 yards and 14 TDs. He averaged 171.3 yards per game and 17.7 yards per pass. Johnathan completed 57.7 percent of his passes along with 6 interceptions. He tucked it and ran for 318 yards and 10 TDs. He finished the season with 2,031 total yards and 24 TDs. Tanner directed a high-scoring offensive unit throughout the season. He completed 166 passes for 2,639 yards and 35 TDs. He averaged 219.9 yards and 15.9 yards per pass. Tanner completed 60 percent of his passes along with 9 interceptions. He tucked it and ran for 118 yards and 1 TD. He finished the season with 2,757 total yards and 36 TDs. Carter displayed calmness while completing passes under pressure. He completed 147 passes for 1,798 yards and 17 TDs. Carter tucked it and ran in the red zone for 5 TDs. He averaged 149 yards per game and 17.2 yards per pass. He completed 58 percent of his passes along with 8 interceptions. He was named to the All-Conference Team.
