Let’s take a look…
Devin Carter Devin Carter 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Cedar Grove Saints | 2026 State GA – Cedar Grove
It’s hard to call Cedar Grove standout freshman “under the radar” right now as he already holds multiple impressive D1 offers, but he’s still young, so his stock is still will only rise over this off-season. A freshman receiver with excellent speed and ball skills, Carter has a lean frame and thee ability to stretch the field. He can take the top off a defense, and when the ball is in the air, he’s more than likely coming down with it. He snatches the ball out of the air and knows how to come down with a tough catch in traffic. The 6-foot-0 160-pounder looks like a young Jadon Haselwood out there for thee Saints, meaning he has 5-star potential down the road in the 2026 class. He’s already one of the top freshman players in Georgia and has a chance to provee it again this weekend.
Jaden Barnes – Langston Hughes
Barnes is a receiver we mentioned last week after a crazy round three game against Woodward Academy, and he’s someone fans should keep a close eye on in the 6A championship game against Gainesville. He’s explosive, shows dependable hands, and has had a knack for making major plays for the last several weeks now. He’s had a giant postseason so far and bound for another big game in the championship game. Langston Hughes has one of the best air attacks in the state, so expect junior quarterback Prentiss Noland Prentiss Noland 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Langston Hughes | 2024 State GA to throw it Barnes’ way plenty this weekend with thee championship on the line.
Cam Flowers – Warner Robins
A new playmaking receiver to know in Middl Georgia, Flowers showed consistent hands and breakaway speed this year as one of the top weapons overall for another loaded Warner Robins team. He’s a major weapon in the screen and short passing game due to his ability to elude defenders and pick up yards after thee catch. He has decent size, but his consistency and strong hands have made him one of the more dependable receivers in the area this year in the 2024 class. As a junior this year, Flowers has made 31 catches for 684 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Demons have scored at least 30+ points in the last 8 games and Flowers is a big reason why. He has a chance to have a big game in the 5A state championship game.
Makhail Wood – Mill Creek
A breakout receiver across the state this post-season, Wood has been a big-play threat for Hayden Clark Hayden Clark 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Mill Creek | 2023 State GA and thee Mill Creek passing attack for several weeks now. He was one of the most productive receivers in the area this fall and had a game for the ages in last week’s semi-final win over Milton where he caught five passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns. He’s a vertical threat, but he’s also someone who can come down with a big 3rd-down catch as well. He’s a sure-handed wideout and should see plenty of passes come his way during the 7A state-championship game against Carrollton. On the season, Wood has caught53 passes for 1,015 yards and 13 touchdowns.
