Which players had dominant performances on offense? Let’s take a look…
Jontavis Curry – RB – Thomson
We wrote about Curry being a possible breakout performer leading into this state-championship weekend, and that’s exactly what happened as the senior ran for four touchdowns in Thomson’s big ? win over Fitzgerald. Curry was too much for the Fitzerald defense, showing speed, balance, and explosiveness even in the pouring rain. He’s dominated throughout the post-season and saved his best game for his final high school football game. The under the radar back rushed for 244 and four touchdowns, with a long 86-yard run gave Thomson a double-digit lead with less than two minutes to play. It was a state-championship type of run that defines his entire season this year. e does not hold a D1 offer yet, but that could change soon after this life-changing state-championship performance. He was brilliant, and now he’s a state champion.
Zaquan Bryan – WR – Benedictine
In a defensive performance for the ages, the Cadets were able to hold off a goal-line stand from Cedar town and win their second consecutive national championship. Even in a low-scoring game in the rain, the best players still find a way to make big plays, and that’s exactly what happened with Bryan. He caught an 18-yard pass in the second quarter that gave the Cadets a 7-0 lead, which of course they held onto for a 14-13 victory. In the win, the Minnesota defensive back commit caught 7 passes for 65 yards and one touchdown.
Prentiss “Air Noland – QB – Langston Hughes
Arguably the top 2024 quarterback in Georgia, the big left-handed gunslinger led Langston Hughes to another victory and an undefeated state-championship season with a major 35-28 win over Gainesville. Noland led a high-powered passing attack all season long and stepped up in a big way once again, going 18/21 for 264 yards and three passing touchdowns. He ended the first half on a massive note with two late scores that gave Hughes some breathing room going into the half. He played with poise, was accurate with the football, and distributed the ball out to his weapons with ease. He played like a champion and now they’re 6A champions.

Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA – QB – Carrollton
Even in a loss, it’s impossible to leave Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA off a “top offensive performers” list after what he did against an excellent Mill Creek defense. He had a historic freshman season for the Trojans and gave an all-time performance in the biggest game of the season.
