Williams possesses as much upside and feel for the game as any available RB in San Diego. He’s a fast, quick-twitch athlete that excels at making defenders miss with D-I speed and elusiveness. He’s smart and decisive attacking rushing lanes at the LOS and makes smooth lateral cuts with no loss of speed or momentum to beat open-field tacklers. He’s a pure playmaker with the ball in his hands and a constant threat to turn touches into explosive plays. Williams holds offers from Army, Hawaii, USD, and Utah Tech.
Thompson is one of the most athletic and versatile players available in San Diego. He excels in space on both sides of the ball as a RB/SWR/CB. He’s a playmaker out of the backfield that’s extremely elusive in space and drives his legs through contact. He shows advanced ball skills as a receiver and can create mismatches up the seam with LBs in coverage. He’s quick to close space as a tackler and creates PBUs in coverage by diagnosing routes and driving on the football in the flat. Thompson picked up his first D-I offer from USD in October.
Santiago Salas
Santiago Salas
Salas is a versatile back that handled 15+ carries/game and proved to be an asset in the passing game as a blocker and pass-catcher. He’s a tough, physical runner that reads blocks well at the LOS and can grind out inside runs with pad-level and forward lean. He possesses one-cut lateral agility and sheds tackles in the secondary with powerful downhill leg drive . He can keep tacklers off his framework with a punchy stiff arm and shows consistent high-and-tight ball security through contact. Salas could be an underrated pick up for a D-II/D-III program.
Will Bond
Will Bond
Bond flashed high utility-value making plays as a RB/CB/KR in 2022. He was a primary ball-handler out of the backfield that totaled 8 rushing TDs for Cathedral Catholic. He operates well in tight spaces near the LOS and sticks his foot in the ground to get vertical up the field. He has churning, downhill speed and shows sure hands catching the ball out of the backfield or the slot. He’s slightly undersized at 5’9”/165 but runs compact and with a low, balanced center-of-gravity. Bond has a pair of D-III and NAIA offers from Pacific University (OR) and Culver-Stockton.
