Recruiting News and Notes 12-4-22

We are going to get caught up on all of the recruiting news from offers to official visits. Over the next few weeks, we are going to have plenty of news to report on regarding recruiting as well as looking at the end of the year performance of teams.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='172301' first='Maddox' last='Lassiter']-Athlete-Warren-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lumberjacks of Warren have lined up the versatile Lester all over the field over the past few years. Lassiter has been a Swiss-Army knife for the Lumberjacks and has used his versatility well on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side of the ball, Lassiter plays the tight end position impressively and does a great job of using his speed to create separation to get open. Lassiter visited and placed a commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks over the weekend. He has the potential to do some big things for the Razorbacks over the next few years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='209489' first='Ben' last='Haulmark']-Athlete-Russellville-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Haulmark is one of the most versatile prospects in the class of 2023. He has the ability to play the quarterback, tight end, and wide receiver positions with equal effectiveness. Haulmark has impressive speed and can create plenty of separation in the passing game. The talented Russellville Cyclone has scholarship offers from Florida Atlantic, Harding University, and this weekend he added Northwest Missouri State to his list of scholarship offers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='534565' first='Christian' last='Bell']-Defensive Back-Hot Springs Lakeside-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The state of Arkansas always does an impressive job of producing talented defensive backs that are not afraid to deliver a hit. Hot Springs Lakeside's [player_tooltip player_id='534565' first='Christian' last='Bell'] is a defensive back that has opened plenty of his eyes with his solid play this season. A few weeks ago, the defensive playmaker received a scholarship offer from Rhodes College and this weekend he added an offer from Hendrix College. Congratulations go out to Bell on both those offers to the talented safety!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='308244' first='Wade' last='Simpson']-Linebacker-Conway-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Conway Wampus Cats have had plenty of talented players come through the system over the past few years. Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='308244' first='Wade' last='Simpson'] has terrorized opposing offenses over the past few years and is looking to continue his impressive play at the next level. Simpson does a great job of disrupting both the run and the passing attacks of the opposing offense. Over the weekend, Simpson earned a scholarship offer from Hendrix College. The Hendrix staff is doing a great job of recruiting Arkansas.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='284684' first='Jacob' last='Hebert']-Defensive Back-Magnolia-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hebert is a defensive back that has been playing at a high level for several years. Hebert is a hard-hitting defensive back that can play the safety or cornerback positions with equal effectiveness. He is not afraid to make a tackle or make a play on the football. Over the weekend, Hebert earned a scholarship offer from Hendrix College. Hebert is an intense defensive back that will do well at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='369871' first='Hunt' last='Harrison']-Linebacker-Pulaski Academy-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It has been a busy of couple of weeks for the Pulaski Academy linebacker. A few weeks ago, Harrison earned a scholarship offer from the Arizona State Sun Devils. Harrison is a prospect that would give Arizona State a linebacker that would shut down the opposing running attack and help contain the passing attack. Meanwhile, Pulaski Academy won a 6-A State Championship over the weekend. Keep an eye on Harrison he has the potential to do some big things at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='385303' first='Aaron' last='Smith']-Offensive Line-Conway-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='385303' first='Aaron' last='Smith'] is an offensive lineman with some serious recruiting momentum. The Conway Wampus Cat had an excellent 2022 football season and plenty of division one programs took notice. Including the Red Wolves of Arkansas State, Arkansas State a few weeks ago offered a scholarship to Smith. Over the weekend Smith, had the opportunity to take his official visit to Jonesboro and visit the Arkansas State campus. Smith is another prospect to watch as the recruiting period starts to wind down.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='170805' first='Joey' last='Su'a']-Offensive Line-Bentonville-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The future Arkansas Razorback has had an extremely impressive 2022 football season for the Bentonville Tigers this season. Su'a has impressed many scouts with his quick feet and ability to overpower opposing defensive linemen. Over the weekend, Su'a had the opportunity to take his official visit to Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas. He has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future and is an impressive offensive lineman to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
