Boland was the most impactful player for the Chiefs. He was a difference-maker with the ball in his hands rushing and receiving. Boland proved how valuable he is in this game ending with 99 all-purpose yards with two touchdowns Boland is a tough and physical runner and can be a productive player for a D2 or D3 program.
O’Toole flashed big-play potential and showcased his big arm. He had great command of the offense and seemed to be in sync with receiver Nick Rigby Nick Rigby 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Rumson Fair Haven | 2024 State NJ going to him early and often giving him 12+ targets on the day.
O’Toole played well enough to win this game and was by far the better quarterback. However, while O’Toole has a big arm; your arm means nothing if you aren’t accurate. He had opportunities that weren’t taken advantage of specifically in the red zone, a 50/50 ball to Rigby that I would love Rumson to exploit more in the red area.
O’Toole will most certainly get better with accuracy as he receives more reps, but there’s no question the talent and the tools are there.
If Rumson secured the win, Rigby would’ve undoubtedly been the best player on the field and the player of the game. He made tough catches all game. However, the crucial ones that he couldn’t secure stand out in my mind.
He had a catch he didn’t make in the endzone on a 50/50 ball then one up the sideline he had in his hands but dropped while two defenders were on him. He flashed some impressive skills in terms of contested catch ability and making things happen after the catch, but I needed Rigby to make one of those crucial plays to put this performance over the top. Rigby has the size and ability to be a solid wide receiver.
Lattimer was a player that impressed me. His versatility and his willingness to do the dirty work stood out the most. He was busy the majority of the day catching bubble screens and making things happen after the catch. If Lattimer puts on some weight I can see him being a productive D3 college player.
Joey Marinello Joey Marinello 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Caldwell | 2024 NJ

The other half of the Caldwell rushing attack. Marinello provided lightning to the Harry Boland Harry Boland 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Caldwell | 2023 State NJ thunder. Picking up many key first downs and showing off agility and quick burst finishing the day with 21 carries for 97 yards while eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark for the year.
With Boland moving on it will be interesting to see if Marinello can carry the load, but he proved with his performance that he can be a key cog, on the ground for Caldwell.
