I first came across Alijah’s name as a basketball standout for the Central Eagles. After some great showings at summer camps, he made the preseason 2025 watchlist. Now after his sophomore season, he has made the biggest jump into the top 10. What makes Alijah such an interesting prospect is his size and athleticism. At 6’4″ 210 lbs, he has “next level” size and is only starting to scratch the surface. Playing in a young offense, Alijah didn’t get the ball a whole lot, but he still possesses the talent to be a force at tight end. He is a big, physical player that is very hard to match up DBs with because of the size difference and LBs because of Wayne’s athleticism. On defense, Alijah played a safety/outside linebacker hybrid role in which he lined up on the opposing slot/inside receiver. He tallied 59 tackles, three tackles for loss, and an interception returned for a touchdown. Alijah displayed good coverage skills and did a great job sniffing out and stopping the run.
Highlights
Dupree is another tall, fast athlete that could play offense or defense at the next level. Pleasant’s 6’4″ lengthy frame allows him to get up and high-point the ball over defenders’ heads. Like Alijah’s case, the Rocket’s offense was very young this year and saw some growing pains throughout the season. However, Dupree still hauled in 10 receptions for 113 yards and a receiving touchdown while showing several flashes of the player he could be. On defense, Pleasant plays a versatile outside linebacker role that can line him up against a receiver or on the line of scrimmage as a rusher. In his sophomore campaign, Dupree racked up 49 tackles, five tackles for loss, a sack, and an interception. Lots of potential here!
Lincoln Southeast is looking like the place to go if you’re looking for stud linemen. Sophomore Dane Newman Dane Newman 6’4″ | 270 lbs | OL Lincoln Southeast | 2025 State NE got his first taste of varsity time this season and did a solid job overall. As an interior OL, he shows good short-area burst and does a great job blocking his way into the second level. His leverage and pad level stuck out to me in his tape, being 6’3″, he still manages to keep a lower center of gravity and can generate a lot of power from his lower body. He also has a strong punch while maintaining good hand placement.
Papillion-La Vista WR/DB Isaac Pamaran Isaac Pamaran 5’10” | 180 lbs | ATH Papillion-La Vista | 2025 State NE had a solid sophomore season, quietly racking up 450 receiving yards on 18 receptions and had five receiving touchdowns. He also broke out in a big way with 82 tackles, a tackle for loss, two interceptions, two passes defended, and a fumble recovery. On offense, Pamaran is a big play receiver who averaged 25 yards a catch and has a knack for getting open. He is a shifty receiver that can do damage in the slot. Defensively, Isaac displays several traits to being a great free safety. He is smart and reactive when he reads run or pass and he can close space in a flash. Watch out for this guy!
Elkhorn’s Charlie Lamski Charlie Lamski 6’3″ | 200 lbs | TE Elkhorn | 2025 State NE was a player that attended the Stock Up showcase and performed very well. He was initially signed up as a LB but he really caught my eye in 1v1s as a receiver. Charlie is a tall, rangy target at 6’3″, and he uses his length very well to make catches outside his frame. He tested out among top 5 in the 40-yard dash (4.84), shuttle drill (4.46), broad jump (9’2″), and L-Drill (7.72). He projects well as a tight end and can use his size to create mismatches, especially if he packs some mass onto his frame. On the defensive side, his lateral quickness make him a threat from sideline to sideline with great instincts.
