Post Season Review: Kuna Kaveman

The Kavemen will tell you this is exactly where they thought they would end up a team that is hard to beat on any given night and a team that would make the state playoff. Using multiple different offensive sets to make them a nightmare to prepare for the Kavemen used a strong run game with multiple backs and tight ends to go along with an air raid passing game that used four and five wide receivers. It helps when you have all league quarterback to lead your team as the senior put up huge numbers for the Kavemen in his final season. To go with a star quarterback was two running backs who constantly made the plays needed to win games for the Kavemen including a jump pass that put them in the playoffs. A bright spot for the Kavemen will be bringing back an all-league wide receiver for another go around. Defensively the Kavemen were very similar to their offense using multiple defensive fronts. This defense was as tough as they come making their opponents earn every single yard that they could and being solid tacklers in the back end. They also have some returning bright spots along the defense that will look to carry that hard-nosed mentality into next year. This Kuna team is the building block for the program who made the jump to 5A after being state champions and are heading in the right direction.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
