Over the next few weeks we will be breaking down Oregon's top athletes by position for the 2024 class. Have a look at the state's top WR's and TE's. The overall rankings with the Top 150 is referenced here

https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/2024-rankings/

*PLEASE NOTE- Individuals will only be ranked on one side of the ball.

WR

1.[player_tooltip player_id='152356' first='Joey' last='Olsen'] 6-5 220 Lakeridge COMMITTED: USC Over the last three years Olsen has caught 82 passes for 1,652 yards and 20 TDs, averaging 20.1 yards per catch. He earned 1st team all-league honors and committed to USC over the likes of Oregon, Utah, and Tennessee. He is listed as a WR but could very well end up at TE.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='152353' first='Caden' last='Negra'] 6-3 170 Ashland- Look for Negra to have a big off season and a good senior year. The Grizzlies should be much improved, after going (2-14) the last two seasons, as Negra projects as one of the top players in the state at his position.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='154326' first='Luke' last='Womack'] 6-4 195 Nelson- Womack led the conference in INTs and finished tied for 2nd at the 6A level with 5 picks. As good as he was on defense, look for him to be one of the MHC's best offensively next season, earning all-conference honors on both sides of the football in 22'.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='278376' first='Connor' last='Cesaro'] 6-3 180 North Medford- Cesaro had an outstanding year, catching 41 passes for 582 yards and 6 TDs, earning 2nd team all-conference honors. He will project as one of the top players in the SWC next season.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='511311' first='Cade' last='Gehlen'] 6-0 175 Central Catholic- The University of Portland baseball commit had a phenomenal junior season, scoring 12 TDs (9 rushing, 3 receiving) while making 48 total tackles on defense.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='152338' first='Kenen' last='Elder'] 6-0 170 Tualatin- Elder earned honorable mention all conference honors and has the potential of being a 1st team all TRL guy on both sides of the football next season.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='302220' first='Nicco' last='Simonetti'] 6-0 175 Tigard- Simonetti has a stock which is rising quickly. He had an outstanding year offensively, but was equally impressive on D with multiple INTs. He will project as a 1st or 2nd team all TRL selection on both sides of the football next season.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='206870' first='Troy' last='Osborne'] 6-4 180 Grants Pass- The Sacramento St baseball commit earned second team all-conference honors at WR, helping the Cavemen go (6-4) after a 1-win season the year before. If he pursued football, he could likely play at the FCS level.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='383833' first='Tyler' last='Creswick'] 6-1 180 Putnam- Creswick was one of the top players in the state at the 5A level, earning 1st team all-league accolades on both sides of the football. He led the state with 6 non offensive TDs and 4 INTs, while catching 61 passes for 638 yards and 15 TDs.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='384689' first='Eli' last='Johnson'] 6-4 200 South Salem- There is a lot yet to be determined here as the Saxons spread the ball around with numerous athletes on the perimeter this past season. Over the last two years Johnson has 27 receptions for 307 yards and 2 TDs. He has great size and genes so we will see.

*SIDENOTE- This is probably the best TE group ever to represent the state of Oregon. Especially if you add in USC commit [player_tooltip player_id='152356' first='Joey' last='Olsen'] who projects as a tight end collegiately. All 6 athletes are listed as division 1 recruits.

TE

1.[player_tooltip player_id='152339' first='Jayden' last='Fortier'] 6-5 210 Tualatin OFFERS: Arizona St, Colorado St Expect Fortier to add numerous offers over the off-season. From a projection standpoint, he could end up the best player on this list collegiately. His 30+ catches, 500 receiving yards, and 5 TDs were only a glimpse of his potential production.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='152358' first='AJ' last='Pugliano'] 6-3 220 North Medford COMMITTED: Oregon Pugliano put it all together during the season, earning 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the ball, for a Black Tornado team who continued to get better each week, winning 6 of their last 8. It will be interesting to see where he fits in postion wise with the Ducks.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='152336' first='Gus' last='Donnerberg'] 6-4 200 West Linn- Donnerberg earned 2nd team all TRL honors on both sides of the football. He is a legit prospect on defense as well, with the frame necessary to add signicant size, depending on where he ends up collegiately.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='442249' first='Hayden' last='George'] 6-4 230 Lebanon- Maybe the fastest rising prospect in Oregon. George earned unanimous 1st team honors at TE and 2nd team LB accolades, going for 542 yards and 10 TDs on 32 touches (12 receptions, 20 rushes). He has the potential of being ranked towards the top of this list with continued progression.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='278368' first='Charlie' last='Crowell'] 6-5 230 Summit- This off season will be telling as you can't go wrong with Crowell's size and athletic ability. He helped the Storm to the 5A state title, with 23 receptions for 366 yards and 5 TDs during the regular season.
