Risner’s junior year was his debut season as the starting quarterback for the Knights’ varsity squad, which ended with a league championship and a trip to the postseason. The experience he gained will carry over into the camp season, helping him to showcase his talents while setting himself apart from the crowd. The 6-foot-2 quarterback has a strong, accurate arm and can make throws on every level. Risner is a player to watch as he continues to improve heading into his senior year.

Kiewiet is a new radar pop-up poised to usher in a new era for a rebuilding Westminster program. His athleticism makes him a dangerous runner who can break away from defenses once he makes it past the second level. As a sophomore, he gained the needed experience that has put him on track to have a spotlight-grabbing junior year. Kiewiet will be a player to keep a close eye on as he develops this off-season.
Brake is coming off a season where he had to split reps with a talented senior quarterback, but he looks like the clear-cut starter moving forward. He is a versatile athlete who seems comfortable throwing from the pocket. His ability to put the ball in spots that keep his receivers safe on quick passes is rather impressive. Brake is a newcomer to the radar who is on track to emerge as one of the top names in his class, making him a player to get eyes on early.
Veasley popped up on the radar coming into the previous season. He is a pocket passer with a strong arm and powerful release. His ability to hit receivers in stride on intermediate and deep passes is rather impressive. As he prepares for his junior year, Veasley’s development during this off-season will have significant implications for what should be his breakout season next fall.
Jackson’s growth during the last two years has been incredible to watch, and he has barely scratched the surface of his potential. He has a solid frame and does a fantastic job hitting the quick and intermediate throws. He has been a part of one of the more talented quarterback rooms in the state, landing him in a situation where he will be expected to back up one of the top quarterbacks in the class. Jackson is the type of player whose personality and demeanor allow him to garner the respect of the huddle, making him a player with true sleeper potential. It will be interesting to see how he develops during this off-season.
