Continue ReadingThis class is on the verge of being seniors next year. We took the time to evaluate a few guys from this classification. These are the guys who will more than likely be the top ranked players within this class after the rankings drop. They are the guys already working on getting better. A lot of these guys made a big name for themselves at the Army Bowl Combine. Let’s take a look.
Kahnen Daniels Kahnen Daniels 6'1" | 185 lbs | RB West Point | 2024 State MS , ATH, 2024 West Point
Daniels had a very gresg weekend in Frisco, TX. He ran a 4.56 40 yard dash, and was the man in 1v1 drills. He showed why he picked up three offers toward the latter part of this past season. Daniels can flat out fly. He also has good hands out of the backfield. Daniels can easily go to college and play defensive back. He has the aggression, but he also has the frame of a good safety. The sky is the limit for him. He has already been invited to play in the 2023 Army Bowl.
Fredrick Clark, LB, Winona 2024
Clark is a beast. Some call him Fatt Clark while others call him Fred Clark Fred Clark 6'2" | 205 lbs | LB Winona | 2024 State MS . Whatever name you use just make sure you had Mr to the front of it. This guy is a stud. He showed that this past weekend. He was also invited to play in the 2023 Army Bowl game. Clark ran a 4.7 this weekend. The lower he gets the time the more he will see his stock go up. He has several power five offers. One that he seems to like a lot right now is Auburn. However, Miss State is letting it be known they like his game a lot.
Christopher Jones Christopher Jones 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Hartfield Academy | 2024 State MS , RB, Hartfield Academy 2024
Jones had a very good combine this past weekend. He is a guy that can possible see himself playing linebacker on the next level. He has the frame of a lineback. Big wide shoulders with long arms. He definitely has the size to be able to rough some guys up out of the backfield. He is a prospect that a lot of schools will start to pay more attention to next year. Once he makes it to a few camps on college campuses this off-season, he will see his stock rise more. This kid can play.
AJ Lewis, WR, Columbia 2025
Lewis went to Frisco and had a very great camp. He weighed in at 6-feet 190-pounds. He ran a 4.56 40, and he also was named one of the top three receivers in his class. Lewis made a great name for himself. He showed that he has the speed to separate himself from most defenders. However, Lewis has a 74 inch wingspan. That can be used in a great way on the defensive side of the football. It is going to be interesting to see where he pans out at. I do truly think he can be a great defensive back with those long arms he has. He also has great jumping ability. This is a pure stud that we all should become familiar with.
