- Combines speed, balance, quickness, vision and crisp cuts to leave defensive backs and linebackers in the dust.
- Has smooth acceleration and deceiving speed. Balanced and very fast with the ball in his hands.
- A slippery runner with elusive footwork. Has little to no wasted movements between the reception and burst upfield.

- Usually decent in zone coverage, showing a great understanding of routes and the ability to close quickly.
- Does a good job getting his head around in time when playing with his back to the line of scrimmage. Has the ability to cover quickness underneath.
- Has explosive movement skills and the fluid athleticism and change-of-direction ability to come down and cover slot receivers.

- Davis Jr. has a quick release and shows good accuracy on shorter throws when on the move to either side.
- He shows very nice touch on deep balls, as well as the ability to anticipate windows and fit in tight throws with good velocity.
- Picks up yards with his legs when needed.
- Electric speed allowing him to easily burn tacklers on corners
- Has the vision and confidence to hit holes without second thought
- Possess fluidity as a runner, can stop on a dime or turn on the jets at will

- Carter accelerates quickly and possesses good straight-line speed. He shows solid ball-tracking skills and body control downfield, able to adjust to the off-target throw.
- Has a knack for getting open and is a quarterback’s best friend – passers just need to toss the ball in his area and he’ll come down with it.
- He is a natural playmaker, at his best with the ball in his hands.
