Simmons-Little had as good of a season as you can have. He’s a fantastic athlete who is able to escape, keep his eyes downfield, and make some incredible plays. He’s got a natural raw arm talent which is rather interesting and fun to watch because he can flip his arm sideways and make a throw on the run. He’s got a big natural frame which allows him to take some hits but more importantly, could easily develop into a big body down the road which is hard to bring down and could break off big runs at the collegiate level. Simmons-Little has a decent arm and is able to make some big throws down the field and his arm strength will only getting better as he develops down the road as well. During his Senior campaign Simmons-Little put up 3200 passing yards and 41 total TDs, 37 of those through the air. He’s a dynamic QB who could be a gem in Indiana that makes a college program flourish.

Qade Carrington Qade Carrington 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Northridge | 2023 State IN – Northridge – QB – 6’2″ 190lbs – 2023
Carrington is the fellow lefty I’ve been searching for. He’s got a natural throwing motion that seems to be very easy and fluid. When he’s in the pocket and has time he’s as dangerous as anyone out there. He’s athletic enough to take off and extend the plays. He typically keeps his eyes downfield and is able to deliver a strike. He’ll take off and run when he needs to as well. He’s quick enough to get around the corner and pick up a ton of yards before the defense realizes it. Carrington’s best traits are his accuracy and how catch-able of a ball he throws. He’s able to get the ball right where his guy needs it. He can drop it over the top or fire it in a tight hole. He’s got a ton of confidence and even with pressure in his face, doesn’t get rattled too easily. I think Carrington is the exact type of recruit to come in, develop while lighting up the practice squad, and never looks back when he gets his chance.

Max Mullis Max Mullis 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB West Lafayette | 2023 State IN – West Lafayette – QB – 6’0″ 190lbs – 2023
Mullis is a dual-threat QB who has to be incredibly frustrating to defend against. He has fairly good accuracy and is able to drop the ball in a bucket. Whether he’s on the move, in the pocket, or under pressure his accuracy remains one of his best traits. The ball glides through the air and he doesn’t seem to struggle throwing deep. If you don’t pay attention to him, he’s going to turn on the jets and hit the corner. When he does that, he’s hard to bring down as anyone. Mullis is able to come off reads he doesn’t like and will go through his progressions and get the ball to the open man. There’s never a panic with him but a sense of confidence when things around him don’t work out. I can easily see Mullis landing somewhere and having an awesome career. He’s got the talent it’ll just depend where he lands and if he gets his shot, which I think he will.

Tyler Fessel Tyler Fessel 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Corydon | 2023 State IN – Corydon – QB – 6’1″ 170lbs – 2023
Fessel is one of the most slippery recruits in the pocket you’ll come across. He’s as good in the pocket as anyone in the region and has no panic. If things around him breakdown he can step up and run. Or, better yet he can make a nice off platform ball and get it to where it needs, even if he’s falling back while getting hit. I do think there’s some work to be done with his footwork while dropping back, but if that gets cleaned up he’ll just be that much more difficult to defend. He’s got a ton of natural raw arm ability and it’s what has let him thrive. That, and his ability to run and make things happen. Fessel just has a good sense of when to take off or throw the ball away. He put up his best season to date and it’s because how well he was seeing the field. His over 3000 scrimmage yards and 37 TDs on the year speak to the type of year he had. He looked good and he’s only going to get better and someone is going to get a diamond in the rough.
