The 3A players of the year on offense was not an easy pick for us. One of the guys who made it to the final cuts is also being considered for defensive player of the year as well. There are a lot of guys who did well on offense in this classification. Everybody can't win so we had to break it down to two. Let's take a look at who they are.

3A North Offensive Player of the Year, [player_tooltip player_id='108968' first='Charleston' last='French']

It was no secret who our 3A offensive player of the year is. French is also the all-time leading rusher for Amory. French is a guy that does a lot for the Panthers. He is a running back that plays the game with a lot of energy. French is very quick, and he is also low to earth when he runs the football. That makes it hard for defenders to get a good tackle on a guy who is already running with a lot of power. He has great vision as well. French is a guy that can make defenders miss him in a phone booth. He has several offers and has a lot of Amory fans anxious to see where he will further his career.

3A South Player of the Year, [player_tooltip player_id='108932' first='Will' last='Loy']

[player_tooltip player_id='108932' first='Will' last='Loy'] is an underrated quarterback who has been lights out in his career. Loy has accumulated for over 100 touchdowns in his high school career. He was lights out again this year by throwing the football all over the place. Loy is going to be a steal at some college. He has good mechanics, and he knows how to get the football to the open receiver. He also knows how to be a winner. His team fell short to Raleigh in the playoffs, but he was trying his best to win that game. He is a guy that knows how to put a football team on his back. Expect for Loy to have a big impact on the college level. He is a coachable kid who will continue to develop.

Honorable Mentions

You can't mention 3A offense without mentioning AJ Little. He is a guy that is under the radar, but he has produced for Noxubee County in a major way all season. Even when their starting quarterback was hurt he was still making big plays. Little is a guy who I think should be playing college football on the Power five level. He has a great physical shape, and he is a work horse. He loves to he in the weightroom. Little also is a guy that has a lot of speed. You don't want to just put a good cover guy on him. Little calls to have an opponent on him that can run with him. He is an absolute dude.

[player_tooltip player_id='106167' first='Suntarine' last='Perkins'] did a very great job on offense this year. He was lights out almost every time he touched the football. He is a guy that you can line up anywhere on the gridiron and he will produce. Perkins had a lot of big runs this year. In the state championship game he took his first touch for 75 yards and a touchdown. He was making those type of plays all season. Perkins will be playing linebacker in college, but we will never forget this senior season he had on offense. He was a major factor in a lot of their games. This season he put Raleigh 9n their back. Their team faced a lot of adversity this year after seeing two of their teammates die on separate occasions. He helped to keep them focused.

The 3A players of the year on offense was not an easy pick for us. One of the guys who made it to the final cuts is also being considered for defensive player of the year as well. There are a lot of guys who did well on offense in this classification. Everybody can't win so we had to break it down to two. Let's take a look at who they are.
