- Hill stands tall in the pocket and has the toughness and strong build to withstand contact when Hill throws.
- He possesses a nice combination of size, athleticism, arm strength and he sells ball fakes effectively.
- Ball placement at short and intermediate levels is a strength. He moved quickly through progressions when asked to.
- The deep ball is a strength for him. He can get it there, and he does a nice job dropping deep throws in with proper touch down the sideline.
- Because he’s tall and broad-shouldered, he’s able to withstand big hits. Nickel plays with a confident, gunslinger mentality and will test windows downfield.

- Good size and build for the position. Very good arm strength. Can drive the ball on a line from the opposite hash.

– QB – Creekview
- Good zip and ball placement on the quick slant. Good touch down the seam and on post-corner, flag routes to attack the defense vertically and horizontally.
- Good accuracy overall, including excellent accuracy on short timing routes to backs and receivers, placing the ball slightly in front to lead receivers to potential yardage after the catch.
- Is well developed as far as the mental aspect of the game is concerned – works quickly through his reads and rarely panics under pressure
- Very accurate on intermediate and short throws; flashes anticipation and placement on intermediate outs and the ability to lead receivers on deeper throws.
