With the early signing day quickly approaching, a few of the state's top players decided where to continue their football careers.

Clegg was committed to the Stanford Cardinal, but the Utah Utes were able to flip the dominant defensive end and keep him in his home state. The 6'4 four star can stop the run and get after the quarterback at a high level. His elite combination of speed and strength usually leads to him facing numerous double teams. Clegg has a quick get-off and displays impressive bend around the edge. His wingspan allows him to long-arm offensive tackles and stand them up to set the edge. Clegg's motor never stops, and with a bevy of pass-rush moves, he generates numerous pressures.

Fano's final four came down to Utah, Clemons, Michigan, and Oregon. He opted to make Rice Eccles his new home and committed to Utah along with his brother Logan. Fano has been arguably the best offensive lineman in the state for the past two years. His technique is flawless, and his footwork is impeccable. Fano easily overpowers defenders to open running lanes. As an elite athlete, Fano excels at blocking in space. Whether pulling, climbing to the second level, or getting out in the screen game, the 6'4 tackle takes care of business. In pass protection, he has a strong anchor that makes getting past him much easier said than done.

Sweat was one of the state's most underrated players heading into the 5A postseason, but three interceptions in his final two games and a state championship shed some much-deserved light onto the elite safety. He controls the backend of the field as well as any defender in the state. Sweat's recognizes plays at a high level and has the speed to make stops at any level. He tracks the ball like an elite reciter and has the hands of one too. The 6'0 defensive back will continue his football career at Utah State, and the Aggies are lucky to have him.

Special teams have plagued Utah Football issues the last few seasons, especially in the kicking phase. The Utes have struggled on field goals and getting touchbacks. Iverson excels at both and could be the Utes answer to these two issues. The Silverwolves kicker has a strong leg, with over 30 touchbacks on the 2022 season. He has also hit field goals from over 55 yards and can get it done from either hash. Iverson has ice in his veins, which Utah desperately needs at the kicker position.
