Doing these analysis allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Aden Davenport- Palmer Trinity High c/o 23
5’11 182lbs
Davenport was the best quarterback in the district this season after throwing for 2,144 yards, completing 66% of his passes and throwing 24 touchdowns. He had a QB rating of 132. He led Palmer Trinity to the second round of the state playoffs in which he passed for 469 yards and three touchdowns in a loss toTrue North Classical. Davenport displays good accuracy and can make all the throws necessary to be effective quarterback at the next level. He’s a smart player that reads coverages and knows where to go with the football quickly.
Jason Barket- Westminster Christian High c/o 25
6’1 165lbs
Barket was very good this season for Westminster Christian, he finished second in the District in passing, throwing for 1,947 yards, completing an outstanding 66% of his passes with 24 touchdowns. He had a QB rating of 117. He’s a dual threat player that can beat you with his legs and rushed for 245 yards, averaging 6 yards per carry with six rushing touchdowns. Barket led Westminster to him 8-3 record and a playoff berth in 2022. He’s a sophomore prospect with high upside, shows good short and intermediate accuracy, and processes coverages quickly. He’ll be a player that teams will have to game plan for next season.
Jacob Villa- Somerset Academy South c/o 26
Villa is a freshman quarterback that started 10 games on varsity for Somerset Academy Homestead in 2022. On the season he led the team in passing throwing for 478 yards, completed 55% of his passes with four touchdowns. He also had two rushing touchdowns. Unfortunately he doesn’t have any Hudl tape to evaluate, but is a player the coaches should keep an eye on the next few seasons to watch his progress.
