Week 7: Top QB Performances

Now for week 7, highlighting top performances by position each week, I wanted to say there are MANY other quarterbacks who could be put on this list. I am listing the players who's stat line stood out, who people recommended but most importantly, ONLY players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. Week 7 against Wakiakum, he threw for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns and contributed 106 yards rushing on the ground to go along with 3 more touchdowns. He wasn't done there, he also got an interception on defense as well. He contributed well on both sides of the ball just like he has done all season. He's an electric quarterback on the field, bing able to use his legs and his arm effectively. He's versatile on the defensive side of the ball, being able to line up as a linebacker or a safety. Against Riverside HS, he threw for 268 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 68 yards and 2 more scores with his feet. When I say he has a cannon of an arm, I really mean that, being able to sling the ball 50/60 yards with ease.  He can throw on the run well too, being just as accurate and getting it down the field easily too. Against Kentlake in week 7, he contributed 5 total touchdowns. He went 11/16 with 206 passing yards and 1 touchdown. Where he really did his damage was with his feet. He had 13 carries for 94 yards and 4 more touchdowns with his legs. They are clicking on all levels, playing some great quarterback. A lot of that is thanks to Lien's stellar throws and play on the field. Lien proves each week why he's a top 3 ranked quarterback within the class of 2023 in the state of Washington. Against Marysville-Pilchuk HS, River threw for 4 touchdowns and rushed for another for a dominating performance. This year, he was able to become the starting quarterback for this Prosser team. He's played very well all season long, leading the team to a great season. They only have 1 loss before week 7 and that was against a tough Othello school. Against East Valley HS, Kory had a game that no other Prosser quarterback has ever had. He ended up passing for the most passing yards in a single game in the history of the school. He completed 32 of 45 passes throwing for a staggering 496 yards and 3 touchdowns. I wouldn't be surprised if next year we see multiple 400 yard games from Kory, maybe even a 500 yard one.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview"} /-->
