Week 11: The Final Week Is Here

It seems like we were just finishing up spring football and looking forward to the season ahead.
All the work that was put in during the off-season to get ready for 2022, and just like that, it comes to an end this week.
For the teams who qualify for the state playoffs, the dreams of reaching this point have been achieved – and of course for other programs – it’s time to put the equipment away until late April when we start this process all over again.
With many camps, combines and 7-on-7 events to keep the pure football prospect occupied, the process of recruiting continues.
As we are winding the season down, here is a look at the Top 25 plus for this week:
1.Miami Central (2M – 9-0). THIS WEEK: Off This Week. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Rockets ended the regular season as district champions, beating Miami Gardens Monsignor Pace, 50-14.
Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna (1M – 8-0). THIS WEEK: The regular season comes to an end at home with a Thursday night (6:00) makeup game with Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Lions rolled to their fourth straight shutout, 63-0.
3. Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas (3M – 9-0). THIS WEEK: The Raiders will be off. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Year, LAST WEEK: The Raiders finished the regular season with a 44-0 win against Lauderdale Lakes Boyd Anderson.
4. Bradenton IMG Academy (Independent – 6-1). THIS WEEK: A Nov. 4 home game against Toronto Prep. NEXT GAME: The Ascenders will be off before a Nov. 18 contest against national power St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. LAST WEEK: A convincing 58-0 win against Middletown, Delaware.
5. Lakeland (4S – (9-0). THIS WEEK: A regular season-ending home game against St. Petersburg Lakewood on Nov. 4. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Dreadnaughts took care of longtime rival Lakeland Kathleen, 35-0.
6. Plantation American Heritage (2M, 9-1). THIS WEEK: The final week of the regular season will be off. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Patriots closed out the season with a 63-0 district win against Hallandale.
7. Orlando Edgewater (3M – 9-0). THIS WEEK: The annual showdown at home against Orlando Boone on Nov. 4. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Eagles had the week off.
8. Miami Christopher Columbus (4M, 9-1). THIS WEEK: The final regular season week will be off. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Explorers ended the regular season with a 42-0 win against Hialeah Goleman.
9. Tampa Bay Tech (3M – 8-2). THIS WEEK: The Titans will be off for the final week of the regular season. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Titans rebounded with an exciting 18-17 win against Seffner Armwood.
10. Jacksonville Trinity Christian (1M – 9-0). THIS WEEK: The final regular season game at home against Quincy Munroe on Friday. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Conquerors rolled to a 55-10 win against Jacksonville Providence.
11. Pensacola Pine Forest (3S – 9-0). THIS WEEK: The final regular season week will be off. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. .LAST WEEK: The Eagles rolled to a 50-0 win against Pensacola Booker T. Washington.
12. Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons (2M, 9-1). THIS WEEK: The Chiefs will have the final week off. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The two-time defending state champions won their regular season finale, 49-20 against Fort Lauderdale Stranahan.
13. St. John’s Bartram Trail (4S – 9-0). THIS WEEK: The regular season comes to an end with a Nov. 4 home game against Jacksonville Mandarin. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Bears rolled to their ninth straight win, 55-20, over Orange Park Oakleaf.
14. Venice (4S – 5-2). THIS WEEK: A home regular season ending game against Clearwater Academy International on Nov. 4. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. WEEK: The Indians won Academy Blue, 41-9.
15. Gainesville Buchholz (4S – 7-1). THIS WEEK: A Nov. 4 away game against Jacksonville Bolles. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Bobcats bounced back with a 49-35 win against Orange Park Fleming Island.
16. Orlando Jones (3M – (7-2). THIS WEEK: A Nov. 4 away game against Orlando Dr. Phillips to end the regular season. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Tigers jumped on Winter Garden Horizon, 47-14
17. Rockledge (3S, 8-1). THIS WEEK: It’s the annual BBQ Bowl on Nov. 4 at Cocoa to end the regular season. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Raiders scored early and often in a 35-0 win against Eau Gallie.
18. Niceville (4S, 8-1). THIS WEEK: A Nov. 4 away game at Navarre ends the regular season. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Eagles won a close 28-21 game against Lynn Haven Mosley.
19. Winter Park (4M, 8-1). THIS WEEK: A home game on Nov. 4 against Altamonte Springs Lake Brantley. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Wildcats won a district game against Orlando Timber Creek, 47-3.
20. West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman (9-0, 1M). THIS WEEK: The regular season comes to an end on the road this Thursday, Nov. 3 at Miami Gulliver Prep. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Crusaders were off.
21. Lake Wales (3S, 9-0). THIS WEEK: A home game against Bartow on Nov. 4 wraps up the regular season. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Highlanders posted their third straight shutout, 34-0, against Auburndale.
22. Apopka (4M, 7-2). THIS WEEK: It’s rivalry week to end the regular season when the Blue Darters travel to Apopka Wekiva on Friday. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. TUESDAY NIGHT: Won a huge district matchup with No. 24 Sanford Seminole, 24-13.
23. Sanford Seminole (4M, 8-2). THIS WEEK: The Seminoles will be off. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Seminoles lost a key district road game against No. 22 Apopka, 24-23.
24. Bradford County (1S, 9-0). THIS WEEK: The regular season comes to an end with a road game against Live Oak Suwannee on Nov. 4. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: After three straight shutouts, the Tornadoes won the district with a 35-14 decision against Palatka.
25. (TIE) Vero Beach (4S, 9-1). THIS WEEK: They will have off for the final week of the season. NEXT GAME: State Playoffs Next Week. LAST WEEK: The Indians bounced back after their first loss of the season with a thrilling 10-7 overtime game against Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast.
