We're getting closer and closer to the end of the high school football season and we have our top four set with two more weekends left.

The best of the best are standing out among the rest and multiple impressive defenders came up big once again in round three.

Who were they? Let's take a look...

[player_tooltip player_id='321464' first='Zayden' last='Walker'] - Schley County

One of the top overall 2025 prospects not only in Georgia, but across the country, Walker put on a 5-star performance in round three, leading Schley County to a massive 55-23 win over Wilcox County. Walker did a little bit of everything in the game, making big plays both on offense and defense. He was a factor at running back, rushing for 53 yards and one touchdown, but his defensive performance proved why he has 5-star potential in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-3 220-pounder made four tackles, has two QB hurries, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery that he took back for a big 37-yard touchdown. He's absolutely one of the best athletes in South Georgia and proved why on Friday night.

Koby Sakyi - Roswell

A breakout defender in the 2025 class, the athletic defensive lineman is a big-time athlete who continues to learn and develop week after week. He's got better as thee season has moved along and appears to have a an extremely high ceiling as a disruptive EDGEe defender. Just a sophomore, Sakyi has dominated at times this season and showed big-play ability once again during Roswell's big 42-34 win over Thomas County Central on Friday night. The 6-foot-3 125-pound defender was all over the field in the victory, making 14 tackles, 2 TFLs and one sack. Look for his stock to soar this off-season. He'll quickly climb recruiting boards for college coaches in the 2025 class after a massive sophomore season.

Tyson Brown Jr - Rome

Thee Rome Wolves are always fighting for a state championship and they're in the running once again in 2022. A tough, talented program with winning DNA, the Wolves have been terrific on defense this year and had another dominating defensive performance this past weekend against Marist in a big 17-7 win. Senior defender Tyson Brown Jr, a versatile EDGE/OLB, had a monster game against Marist, making 11 tackles, 4 TFLLs, and two sacks in the victory. When the Wolves needed a big stop, Brown Jr was always there to make a big play. He was all over the field and a big reason why Rome's defense dominated all game long. He absolutely deserves credit for Rome's big win, giving one of the top defensive performances across the state.

Trajen Greco - Mill Creek

The Mill Creek Hawks are on a roll and have a real chance of winning the 7A title this year. A big reason why is the play of their defense, and they might have the best defensive backfield left in the playoffs. Everyone knows about five-star [player_tooltip player_id='34015' first='Caleb' last='Downs'], but junior DB Trajen Greeco is a standout defender in the secondary as well. In a big win over Westlake, Greco had two INTs and three more pass-breakups, helping shut down a very dependable and explosive Westlake offense. He's a big-play waiting to happen in the secondary and will have a giant matchup this weekend against Milton.
