In the section final against a tough and physical Granite Bay team, he rushed for over 200 yards and a impressive 6 TD's. Manteca is slated to play Pittsburg in their Norcal Bowl game lead by Florida commit [player_tooltip player_id='25431' first='Jaden' last='Rashada']. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB Devin Martin, Vanden HS</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Martin has been very consistent and one of the best linebackers across the SJS over the past two seasons and had a stellar performance over the weekend against Capital Christian. Along with a game sealing pick, Martin was all over the field in run support and when applying pressure from various angles. He is a tough and physical thumper that will make any college roster better at the next level. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id='270879' first='McCade' last='Long'], Granite Bay HS</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Long has been one of the top signal callers all season in the SJS and put on a show against Manteca, narrowly missing his chance at a section title in a shootout. He is a no brainer next level player with a big arm and good pocket mobility while having a very strong football IQ and the frame and strength to be successful at the next level. Granite Bay was a very run heavy team this year behind one of the top backs in Norcal in [player_tooltip player_id='406704' first='Carter' last='Jackson'], but Long managed each game well and still threw for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns through the air. He also tacked on another 3 scores on the ground. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id='190433' first='Donovan' last='Maxey-Parler'], Folsom HS</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Parler is a very under-rated back that has put together a nice season so far. Leading the way for one of the best teams in California, the senior back has rushed for over 700 yards and 10 TD's while a phenomenal blocker in pass protection and very effective catching the ball out of the backfield. He has gone for 170+ yards receiving and another 4 TD's. This weekend against Oak Ridge, he took 6 carries for 93 yards and 2 scores and will be a key piece in defeating the De La Salle Spartans on Friday night in Folsom. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id='115451' first='Austin' last='Mack'], Folsom hS</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Mack is one of the more prolific quarterbacks on the West Coast and has put on solid showings every week this season. This weekend was no different, as he passed for over 200 yards and was almost perfect on the night with completions.
