We start postseason play in the state of Arkansas this Friday night. However, the recruiting process is humming right along. It was another busy week of recruiting news for prospects across the Natural State. We are going to look at several prospects that made recruiting news whether it be through visits or scholarship offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='260284' first='Aquavious' last='Dunbar']-Athlete-Lakeside Lake Village-2024

Dunbar is a prospect to watch out for on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. At he safety position he is a prospect that is not afraid to get physical with opposing wide receivers and tight ends. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball he is a powerful runner with the ability to run opposing defenders over. Dunbar visited Louisiana-Monroe over the weekend and in the process earned a scholarship offer. Look out for this young man over the next few months I expect him to earn some more scholarship offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='91945' first='Xzavier' last='Brown']-Offensive Line-Ashdown-2023

Brown is a powerhouse offensive lineman that looks to finish every block. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and anchors the Ashdown offensive line this season. Brown has no trouble clearing a path for his running backs and he uses his quick feet well. Earlier in the week, the Ashdown powerhouse picked up a scholarship offer from the University of Louisiana. The Ragin Cajuns are doing an impressive job of recruiting Arkansas it does not surprise me to see both them and Monroe recruit the Natural State in an intense fashion.

[player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis']-Linebacker-Little Rock Christian-2024

One linebacker to watch out for the in the playoffs as well as the 2023 season is [player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis']. Davis has the speed needed to play all over the field for the Warriors. He can cover tight ends and running backs out of the backfield with impressive success. Meanwhile, he has no trouble getting into the opposing offensive backfield to shutdown the rushing attack. Davis had the opportunity over the weekend to visit the Memphis Tigers. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='376929' first='Torren' last='Jackson']-Defensive Back-Watson Chapel-2023

The Watson Chapel defensive back has excellent speed. Jackson uses his hands well and can stick with any wide receiver when it comes to the speed department. The versatility that Jackson has is impressive. He has the speed and the hands to play on both sides of the ball and do so effectively. The Watson Chapel defensive back picked up a well-deserved scholarship offer from the Ottawa Braves a few days ago. Congratulations go out to the talented Watson Chapel defensive back.

[player_tooltip player_id='240097' first='Za'Marion' last='Manuel']-Athlete-Springdale-2023

Manuel is a versatile prospect from Springdale. He did an impressive job of playing on both sides of the ball this season for the Bulldogs. On the defensive side of the ball, he is a defensive back that plays the man well. He has the speed to stay with opposing wide receivers and is not afraid to make a tackle. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball that has the speed to cut it to the outside and make opposing defenders look silly in the process. Manuel earned a scholarship offer from William Jewell College last week and congratulations go out to the talented Bulldog.

[player_tooltip player_id='149580' first='Drake' last='Lindsey']-Quarterback-Fayetteville-2024

The Fayetteville quarterback has had an impressive season throwing the football. Lindsey threw for 3,500 yards this season for the Bulldogs and has the opportunity to continue the impressive play in the postseason. Lindsey throws an accurate ball and has a strong arm. He does an impressive job of fitting the ball into his wide receivers. Over the weekend, Lindsey had the chance to visit the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Lindsey is a prospect to watch out for in the playoffs and during the 2023 football season.
