The list is continuing to grow every every day, as new prospects are added behind the scenes. In February/March, the new prospects that are being added will become visible to subscribing members on the Watch List with our second update. The list will be updated three times during the spring and summer camp season(s). The final list will be released in mid-August, as these athletes are set to begin their high school careers. Here is a look at the athletes from the state of Arkansas, that were included on the initial 2027 Football Prospect Watch List.
A 5-foot-9, 130-pound Defensive Back/Wide Receiver type that has excellent ball skills. Doesn’t yet have the size of his brother ( Kamauri Austin Kamauri Austin 6’4″ | 185 lbs | WR Bryant | 2026 State AR , 2026, 6’2″) but is every bit the athlete. Firey, competitive kid that expects to be the best on the field at all times, regardless of position or competition.
At last measurement was 6-foot and 240-pounds, but has likely grown since then. The definition of country strong, was bench pressing 275-pounds with ease, this past August ahead of his 8th grade season. Quick off the ball as an interior Defensive Lineman and doesn’t miss many tackles if he gets a hand on a ball carrier.
A very talented athlete that can play Running Back, Linebacker, Wide Receiver, Safety, Corner, Return man, etc. Doesn’t matter where he lines up, he’s a very talented kid. Well put-together with good muscle on his frame. Looks like he could step on to a varsity field right now and nobody would think twice about it.
There isn’t much that hasn’t been said about the ability of Edwards. At 5-foot-8 and 140-pounds with speed that’ll make your jaw drop, it’s no wonder Ole Miss has already offered. While they were first, don’t expect them to be last, as he’s already been on a visit to his home-state Razorback’s too. Big time prospect here.
Highlights
An athlete who continues to grow both physically (up to 6-foot-1 and 155 pounds) and grow in my mind as a prospect that nation needs to know about. Great initial burst off the line of scrimmage and doesn’t mess around before getting into his route. Physical, fast and creates after that catch, too.
