Post Season Review: Eagle Mustangs

Eagle was able to run the table during their league season on their way to earning a first round bye in the state playoffs. With one of the best run games in the entire state the Mustangs were able to score points in bunches using a variety of different read plays that made defenses really have to be disciplined in their gameplan. Each week they improved not only using a group of talented seniors but some younger names that are going to be players to watch for a long time in the SIC. Also boasting one of the states most electrifying players on the perimeter that was a threat to score everytime he touched the ball. On defense they had the best two pass rushers in the state of Idaho on the edge that consistently made it hard for quarterbacks and running backs alike. Led by a stalwart who has another year at linebacker and a player who moved all around the defensive front made Eagle very hard to move around. In the backend they have some ball hawks who are going to be returning for another run at making getting a pass completed very difficult. This is a team that will be remembered by many for the sure will that they put into this season after rebounding from some early defeats this Eagle team never gave up and walked away as division champions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
