These two teams can be likened to heavyweight boxers in a tough battle to be victorious Oak Grove is the favorite to win this matchup however as we have seen many times before anything can happen within those 4 quarters. The following athletes will have to be the deciding factor as to which team goes home and which team continues in pursuit of the championship.

Both teams have the ability to run and throw the ball should they choose to however Oak Grove elects to pass the ball primarily. For the Oak Grove Warriors #9 Aj Maddox (QB) has been absolutely electric this season passing for over 260 yards per game displaying his unique ability to launch the football wherever he pleases. Now Maddox has had a fairly small sample size but should he continue to play this way he will be an exceptional recruit at the D1 level. The Biloxi Indians have a great playmaker in Zachary Marlin (QB) whose performance isn't as flashy as Aj but he still does an excellent job of getting the ball to where it should be. He has an exceptional 64% completion rate and throws for nearly 140 yards per game. Marlin will be pressured to perform at the same level as his opponent however if he continues to play his game and make good quick decisions with the football then his team will be in good standing this Friday.

The Warriors have so many complimentary playmakers that it is difficult to really highlight one. Nevertheless, one athlete that has been explosive is wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='340817' first='Jaylen' last='Aborom'](WR). Jaylen averages over 121 yards per game through the air which is incredible for receivers at any level. He certainly has the speed and moves necessary to give defenses a hard time. For the Indians, their main playmaker would be [player_tooltip player_id='340816' first='Duran' last='Parish'](WR). Parish has nearly 700 yards and 8 touchdowns to his name this season. He regularly demands the majority of defensive coordinators and still excels. His skill set is similar to what one would see on an Ohio State roster. Furthermore, the Indians have a respectable running game with Chris Norwood (RB) and two other running backs. These guys in the backfield will certainly test the fortitude of the Warrior's defense as all of them have a 5.2 yard per carry or better. If Norwood and company can establish the running game early and make their opponent uncomfortable they can certainly win the game.

As far as Defense goes these two teams will need to be playing lights out to solidify their run to the championship. This is especially true for the Biloxi Indians. Jayce Cummings (LB) has been the Indian's main tackler this year however he will need to utilize his pass coverage skills more this game than his tackling ability. As long as Jayce can lead his team to keep everything in front of them then they stand a chance to upset the Warriors. For the Warriors SS Tyler Slay (SS) and their excellent defense will be difficult to run and pass against. Tyler can be seen flying around in coverage while also coming down to the box and shutting down running backs. He is a very versatile athlete with great instincts who will be a central piece to winning this game.

Prediction

This game is favored towards the Oak Grove Warriors however I am confident that the Biloxi Indians will have a fighting chance in this contest

Oak Grove 35 Biloxi 28

These two teams can be likened to heavyweight boxers in a tough battle to be victorious Oak Grove is the favorite to win this matchup however as we have seen many times before anything can happen within those 4 quarters. The following athletes will have to be the deciding factor as to which team goes home and which team continues in pursuit of the championship.
