St. Vincent St. Mary
Elijah Martin, OL, 2023 – Elijah is a very good offensive lineman with some D2 offers on the table. He has a huge frame and is athletic. He plays RT with a mean streak. Good bend in his stance and he comes off the snap with good bend and power. He has a very powerful punch and gets after the DL to the whistle. Pulls well with technique and quickly gets to the second level. Pass blocking is above average with good posture, punch, and foot movement. He has longer arms to keep the DE’s outside and a ways away from the QB.
Bryan Rearick, OL, 2025 – Bryan is just getting started! He stands 6’0 and weighs 250. He is very quick and athletic at LT. His motor never stops. He comes off the snap with a flat back and powerful punch. He drives defenders into the dirt and plays with a nasty streak. He pulls well on the counter plays and gets to the second level quickly and latches on. His pass blocking on the left side is very advanced with proper technique, posture, and foot movement. Impressive player in the Akron area.
Mariano Mazzagatti, OL, 2023 – Mariano has a great frame to add size and a high motor. He is a really athletic OL with good technique. Comes off the snap with a flat back and powerful punch. He hits on the rise and keeps his feet moving to the whistle. He gets great coverage on DL on outside runs. He is a good pass blocker with upright posture and great feet. Stonewalls the bull rush on the inside. Mariano is someone to take a good look at D2/D3.
Glenville
Gerald Goodwin, SS, 2023 – Gerald is a flat out stud. He continued his ball hawking ways from his Junior season and affects the game in multiple ways. He can play deep, down over number 2, and blitz. He is very good at block destruction and moves his feet well. He sheds blocks easily and makes great tackles. His cover ability is exemplary in multiple alignments. He plays the ball through the hands and high points interceptions. He is very athletic and twitchy. Has an offer from Toledo and more schools are taking notice.
Archbishop Stebbins
Lavell Lyles, OLB, 2024 – Lavell is a very good football player with 4 offers on the table. At LB he is a tackling machine with great pop and drive. He is patient inside the box and fast outside the box. He can run sideline to sideline. He plays his gaps well and always has correct leverage on the ball. He is a good blitzer and can change the game in the backfield. At RB is a tough in between the tackles runner with great vision. He gets on the second level quickly and has the ability to run defenders over. I am really impressed with him and his abilities.
