Four fairly evenly matched games will highlight the Class 3A lower state playoffs. The home team is favored in each one and all very well could win but there the four road teams are capable of pulling the upset.

Lower Richland (6-5) at Camden (8-3)

This could end up being an exciting match-up. Lower Richland has played better as of late. The Diamonds have a Shrine Bowl selection in WR [player_tooltip player_id='443504' first='Mekhi' last='Campfield'] and two Touchstone Energy selections in WR [player_tooltip player_id='202736' first='Nate' last='Branch'] and DE [player_tooltip player_id='411696' first='Deamonti' last='Garrett']. QB Marcus Smith and RB Lamarion Pearson have also played well recently. But Camden comes in on a 6-game winning streak. QB [player_tooltip player_id='139311' first='Grayson' last='White'] has been steady all season with weapons RB Avaree Hickman, WRs [player_tooltip player_id='139303' first='Cortez' last='Lane'] and Jah Mayrant around him. DE [player_tooltip player_id='91155' first='David' last='Copley'], LB Zack Earle and DT [player_tooltip player_id='89338' first='Xzavier' last='McLeod'] helped pitched a shutout last week in the first round win. This game has been moved to Saturday at 3 p.m.

Brookland-Cayce (7-4) at Dillon (11-0)

The Bearcats had a couple of key injuries last week but [player_tooltip player_id='91137' first='Naahzeikial' last='Mays'] more than made up for it with 163 yards rushing and four touchdowns. DB Will Young, LB Jadyn Johnson and DT [player_tooltip player_id='1359229' first='Trequan' last='Singleton'] will be a key for B-C on defense. Dillon comes in undefeated and ranked No. 1 in Class 3A. The Wildcats will rely heavily on the RB tandem of Ty Martin and Chris McCollum. [player_tooltip player_id='1056203' first='Sirmod' last='McCallum'], Xzavion Davis and Anthony Grant will be the catalyst on defense. This game has been moved to Saturday at 7 p.m.

Crestwood (8-3) at Beaufort (10-1)

If Crestwood is to pull the upset over Beaufort, QB Javion Martin will have to duplicate the 5-touchdown, 292-yard performance in the first round. RBs [player_tooltip player_id='997149' first='Azarian' last='Yates'] and Ryan Cowell should also play big factors. On defense, the Knights need to have CB Jasiah Oaks and DB Jaden Hatcher will need to try to slow the Eagles. Beaufort QB [player_tooltip player_id='1254143' first='Samari' last='Bonds'] three for three TDs and ran for another last week. RB [player_tooltip player_id='336146' first='Kacy' last='Fields'] (pictured) ran for 168 yards and two touchdowns as well. [player_tooltip player_id='336140' first='Colton' last='Phares'] caught two TDS.

Manning (9-2) at Gilbert (9-2)

An evening matched game in the second round is always a bonus. The RB duo of [player_tooltip player_id='262635' first='Alias' last='Graham-Woodberry'] and [player_tooltip player_id='267430' first='Jaden' last='Allen-Hendrix'] will have to power the Indians. The offensive line is big and opens a lot of holes, but it will be difficult against a strong Manning front. Gilbert will need big games from [player_tooltip player_id='262639' first='Jordan' last='Smith'], Jake Torbett, and Brendan Boatwright to slow the Monarchs offense. [player_tooltip player_id='146354' first='Monteque' last='Rhames'], a USC commitment, will have to be a big factor after Manning allowed 42 points to Lakewood last week. QB Justin Daniels and WR Jamari Wilson had big days as well. RB Jalen Coard had the game-winning TD and two-point conversion last week. This game has been moved to Saturday at 6 p.m.
