DJ Jaiman, DB, Basha ’24
Jaiman had possibly the biggest play of the night, as he picked off Raiola for the game clinching INT. He did a great job reading and reacting to the tipped ball to pick it off and seal it. He did a slid job in coverage on the night and was a contributor to that stout Basha defense to only surrender just 7 points against one of the most explosive teams in the country.
Roman Kupu Roman Kupu 6'0" | 205 lbs | LB Chandler | 2023 State AZ , LB, Chandler ’23
Kupu had a big night for that Chandler defense, racking up 9 tackles, 2 TFL’s and 1.5 sacks. Kupa had one of the loudest plays of the night for Chandler where he showed deceptive closing speed to lay a big hit on Williams for sack. He’s a really strong kid with a strong lower half and did a good job processing run/pass to frequently put himself in position to make a play.
Cole Martin Cole Martin 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Basha | 2023 State AZ DB, Basha ’23
The Oregon commit had himself a big night, which included 2 PBU’s and 18 total tackles. One of his PBU’s came on a TD saving play in the back of the endzone on a fade where he leaped up and was able to break up the would be TD. On top of his gifted athleticism, Martin processes the game so quick and plays a fast as anyone I’ve seen, as he is a special type of player that doesn’t come around often.
Wyatt Milkovic Wyatt Milkovic 6'2" | 230 lbs | LB Basha | 2023 State AZ , LB, Basha ’23
Milkovic added 19 total tackles with 2 TFL’s and forced 2 hurries, playing a major factor in that nearly perfect Basha defensive performance on Friday night. Milkovic reads and diagnoses plays at a high level with good insticnts and strength at the POA, making him a very tough player to line up against. Boise State landed a gem, and it’ll be fun to watch him throughout the course of the playoffs against more of AZ’s top talent.
Talib Graham Talib Graham 6'3" | 240 lbs | DL Daphne | 2025 AL , DE, Chandler ’25
The sophomore showcased why he is one of the top 2025 prospects in the state, and while he’ll be a highly recruited player when it’s all said and done. I really like his athleticism within his 6’3″ 240lb frame. He flashed good play rec and pursuit to force Williams out of the pocket numerous times.
