<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ocean Springs got past Oak Grove and now they have to face off against Brandon. This should be a very good game with similar teams playing each other. Oak Grove will use two quarterbacks and get behind their running game. Brandon is going to be ready to come so many different ways we won't be ready to keep up. This will be a very good game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>Ocean Springs</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brayson Hubbard is the leader of this team. He is committed to Alabama and is also wanting to win a state championship. He has a very nice team to do it with. Ocean Springs will be very loaded on offense and they like to throw the ball around a lot. JP Coulter is the guy they like to toss the football to. These guys have what it takes to get the job done. Hubbard wants to win the gold ball. Coach Blake Pennock will have them in the position to get it done. If they can find a way to get past this talented secondary then they will be just fine. Ocean Springs likes to run the football a lot with Hubbard. That's another element that they will have working for them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greyhound defense has a lot of studs who are ready to get after some Bulldogs. Eric Moore, Jr. is one of the main leaders on that side of the ball for Ocean Springs. [player_tooltip player_id='346400' first='Talan' last='Carter'] is a stud on their defensive line. He is a big boy that knows how to load up the trenches. He is going to try his best to be in the backfield a lot causing problems for the Bulldogs. They need a constant push up front to stop the lightning and thunder running game from Brandon. It is going to be a long night for the Greyhound defensive line. They are going to have to be ready for the power game as well as the finesse game. They're defensive ends are going to want to make sure they keep the outside contained. Their secondary doesn't need to fall asleep. Brandon also has a good passing game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Brandon</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brandon has a lot of different tools that they can use on offense. [player_tooltip player_id='273250' first='Landon' last='Varnes'] is a stud at quarterback that lead them to the state championship game as a sophomore last year. [player_tooltip player_id='107036' first='Lester' last='Miller'] is back and we all know what he is capable of. His game is not one you want to underestimate. The Bulldogs also have [player_tooltip player_id='350934' first='Quincy' last='Phillips'], Jr who can be deadly at slot receiver. Nate Blount and [player_tooltip player_id='108964' first='Jarvis' last='Durr'] are they guys who will be toting the rock out of the backfield. These two are some true workhorses and they know how to break down a defense. Brandon is going to need to get these guys going very early. That will be a successful way for them to try to make sure they win this game. A nice balance of the pass and run will help them a lot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brandon's defense is going to want to be ready to play a fast offense. It is going to be critical for them to keep Hubbard contained. Brandon has a nice secondary and should do a good job covering this week. They have to do a good job of covering this week. Hubbard can hurt you with his arm and legs. They do not need to get caught up in being successful in one thing. They are going to want to be able to do a lot of different things on defense against this great offense. Their cornerbacks need to be ready to see receivers running very good routes. Brandon has a good secondary but they need to be disciplined this week. Brayson Hubbard has a very tricky offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
