3A North Half Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A lot of people counted Noxubee Co out in the earlier part of this season. Their quarterback went down and they were losing some non district rival games. Amory has been on a roll all year. Their guys haven't stopped a beat since the season started. Who does the people see winning this game? Let's talk about it.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Amory</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Amory has a very good team that knows how to win football games. They know how to play good defense and they also know how to play good offense. [player_tooltip player_id='108968' first='Charleston' last='French'] is the star of this offense and he knows how to tote the rock. French is also very good in the return game. Amory has a very good special teams unit and that helps them win a lot of games. [player_tooltip player_id='281786' first='Hayden' last='Dozier'] and [player_tooltip player_id='349437' first='Kobe' last='Williams'] hold down that offensive line. These guys give French a lot of room to get through holes. Jatarian Ware is going to have to be real careful throwing the ball this week. Noxubee Co has a good secondary and he doesn't want to get happy feet. The Tigers also have a good defensive line capable of getting a lot of pressure on Ware. Allen Dobbs and [player_tooltip player_id='286476' first='Elijah' last='Spratt'] are going to want to be crafty with their routes this week. That Noxubee Co secondary isn't easily fooled.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Amory has a very good defense and they have some speed. They need to understand that this game is going to be a lot different. Noxubee County has their starting quarterback back in action and he knows how to deliver the rock. [player_tooltip player_id='286476' first='Elijah' last='Spratt'] plays defense and he does a great job on that side of the ball. Allen Dobs also plays great defense. Walker Maranto plays the tackling machine for this Panther defense. He definitely can't fall asleep this week. Noxubee County does have the potential to run the football. Ryan Alsup is another guy who doesn't mind coming up to hit on this Panther defense. Carter Lundquist and [player_tooltip player_id='312401' first='Nathaniel' last='Walker'] is going to do their best to get a lot of pressure on the quarterback of Noxubee County. Pressure in the pocket is going to be the key to Amory winning this football game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Noxubee County</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='648939' first='Kamario' last='Taylor'] is back in full motion for the Noxubee County Tigers. A lot of their fans will admit they are happy to see that. Taylor is a true playmaker. He is far from just a game manager that's keeping the game going. He also can get things done on the ground. That's a part of his game that a lot of people don't pay attention. When teams sleep on Taylor's running game he normally makes them pay for it. AJ Little is a senior receiver who wants to get him a ring this senior season. He is going to be getting a lot of looks tomorrow. He is definitely a true stud. [player_tooltip player_id='123210' first='Dequadrion' last='Welch'] is another good receiver they have as well as Martavious Wicks. Bryson Kelly will be the general holding down the offensive line. They need to be prepared for a great push by this Amory offensive line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Noxubee County has a good secondary, but they need to be able to stop the run this week. They cannot let French get to popping off ten yard runs every other play. Their defense needs to be very disciplined this week and they also need to be concerned with the run. I think that Noxubee Co needs to stack the box this week. Make Jatarian Ware be a pocket passer. Do not allow them to focus mainly on the running game. Make Amory have to be a passing team this week. I wouldn't do a lot of blitzing, but I would have the defensive lineman shooting gaps with my linebackers prepared to make plays. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is going to be a good game. It won't be the same game from the regular season.
