Butler is a top tier athlete with great hands and an incredible catch radius. Any ball that is thrown his way he is sure to haul in. He can consistently beat defenders with both his size and speed which make him an excellent receiver and a very QB friendly target. This season Alone Butler has put up some very impressive stats. So far he has caught nearly 1,200 yards and with close to 100 yards receiving per game. Javieon has shown that he has excellent knowledge of the route tree, good releases and can fit most any system. Javieon has earned himself the distinction of a 3 Star Wideout and great potential within collegiate football. Butler is committed to Southern Miss where he will look to continue his bright future in football. Furthermore, Butler has helped his team gain the opportunity to compete for the 2A State Championships. Should his team be victorious Javieon will have earned himself a ring and the title of 2A’s Top 3 Receivers.

Hastin Nelson Hastin Nelson 6’1″ | 180 lbs | WR Baldwyn | 2024 State MS is one of Baldwyn’s top athletes with lots of talent. He can beat press coverage with his speed, find the seams within zone coverages and run a near perfect route. Nelson Finished the season with similar stats to that of Minnesota Vikings Adam Thielen. Hastin Finished the season with over 730 receiving yards, which is high for high school ball, and 7 Touchdowns to his name. His performances this year were enough to propel his team deep into the playoffs and display his unique skills. Recently this month Nelson was invited on an official visit to the Oregon Ducks Game and another to Vanderbuilt. This is an especially talented athlete who has another year to prove his potential however many are already noticing his skill. For this reason Hastin is rewarded with 2A’s Top 3 Receivers Award.
Ken Young
Ken Young
Ken is an explosive athlete who can do tremendous things with the ball in his hands. This season he has averaged over 90 yards per game of a total of a little over 725 yards and 7 TDs. Many of the yards accumulated were a result of Yards after the catch and yards after contact. Young has the ability to make defenders miss in space and create big time play with his feet. He is one of those athletes who is simply electric and great to watch. Kentravian totaled exactly 100 more yards than Mississippi State’s leading reciever #0 Rara Thomas. Both of them ended the season with similar stats which is simply a testament to Young’s talent level and potential. Furthermore, Young’s production this year helped his team reach all the way into the final four of this year’s playoffs. With one more year still left in his high school career Young did prove that he is one of 2A’s top 3 Wide Receivers and that he has what it takes to compete at the next level.
