Which senior QBs are having giant seasons this fall?

Cameron Ellis – Meadowcreek
The Mustangs are off to an impressive 6-3 record, and they’re a team loaded with talent. Leading the talent on offensive is senior quarterback Cameron Ellis, and the senior is having a big season this fall. A bigger, taller quarterback, Ellis moves well in the pocket and loves to drive the ball down the field. The 6-foot-5 210-pounder is tough to bring down by one defender, and when given time to throw, knows how to throw accurately down the field. Ellis has a lot of weapons at his disposal, and does a good job of getting his guys the ball down the field. Through nine games, Ellis is 170/249 with an impressive 68% completion rate. He’s also thrown for just under 2,100 yards with 23 touchdowns and six INTs. He also uses his legs when he needs too, rushing for five more touchdowns. He’s playing on a high level, throwing for over 230 yards per game. He’s a player to keep an eye on come playoff time.
Boone Anderson – North Paulding
There’s plenty of talent in Paulding County these days, and North Paulding has a standout senior quarterback in Boone Anderson who is having a really impressive senior season. The 6-foot-0 180-pounder is mobile, athletic, and throws a strong, catchable ball. He has quick feet, moves well in the pocket, and knows how to deliver a strike down the field. So far this season, leading North Paulding to a 6-3 record, Anderson is 99/152 with 2,053 yards and 26 touchdowns to just four INTs. He takes care of the football, can read defenses, and has natural instincts for the position. He’s one of the top quarterbacks in the region and has really impressed during the regular season. Look for him to end his career on a big note once the playoffs get here.
Armar Gordon – Perry
An athletic playmaker from Middle Georgia, Gordon is having a fantastic senior season while leading Perry to a strong 8-1 season, one of the best the Panthers have had in a long time. Gordon has one of the strongest arms in the area and has had no problem showing it off this season, throwing for 1,858 yards and 23 touchdowns this season. He’s making smart decisions, can make plays with his feet, and has the arm talent needs to launch the ball deep down the field. In addition to his almost 1,900 yards passing, he’s also been consistent with his accuracy, completing 65% of his passes so far. He has the Panthers clicking offensively, leading them to at least 35 points in every game this season. He’s having a giant senior season with plans to lead Perry to a special, special season.

Arguably the most underrated quarterback across the state, the Worth County star is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks anywhere in the state for the 2023 class. He’s athletic, mobile, and has a strong, accurate arm. He’s a true playmaker and has been tough to stop all year long while leading Worth County to an impressive 8-1 record. As a passer, Cooper has been incredibly efficient, completing 62% of his passes while throwing for 1,920 yards and 19 touchdowns to just one INT. He takes care of the football, understands his job, and does a great job of leading the offense and not turning it over. He throws the ball well, but he’s an excellent runner as well. Cooper has rushed 111 times this year for 528 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, proving to be one of the most productive dual-threat QBs in the area.
