Jordan McDaniel
Jordan McDaniel
McDaniels is a tough to block defensive end who has multiple tools to beat his opponent with and get to the QB. Jordan isn’t the biggest guy on the field but he possesses speed, athleticism and the sort of bend that you look for in top tier defensive ends. This season Jordan McDaniel utilized his skill set to get to the QB for 12 sacks this year. Offensive coordinators certainly try to chip or combo block him but still he is able to get off the blocks and make an impactful play on the football. McDaniels is certainly a skilled athlete who has skills that need to be put to use. Jordan would be a great fit for any local JUCO looking to add a key contributor to their defense. Because of his top end production this season Jordan is considered to be one of 1As Top 3 Sack Monsters.
Cameron Farmer
Cameron Farmer
Cameron is a young athlete who has found immense success early on in his high school career. As a freshmen Farmer earned himself a starting position and did exceptionally well as a Defensive End. Farmer got to the quarterback 9 times this season with his twitch, pass rush moves and speed. What is promising about Cameron is that he still has a lot of room to grow in regards to both size and skill. If Cameron continues to have these types of seasons and improve he is certain to attract the attention of some notable programs throughout the area. Farmer most definatley deserves to be called one of 1A’s Top 3 Sack Monsters for his level of production this season.
Drexel Miller
Drexel Miller
Drexel has the body type needed to be a formidable OLB. He has a great wingspan that allows him to get separation from offensive linemen and average a sack per game. Miller missed some games due to unforeseen circumstances and therefore his sample size is limited. The good part is that Drexel has another year to improve his game and show everyone what he is capable of doing with a full season. Drexel Miller appears to be an under the radar athlete who has great potential. His size and stature alone are qualities that are coveted at the next level and when you pair them with his 8 sacks for the season he seems to be a promising recruit. I would recommend watching Drexel next year and seeing what he can put on tape. Nevertheless his efforts this year have granted him the title of 1A Top 3 Sack Monsters.
