<p>Miami True North Classical Academy had several key performers this week. Among those were <strong>Zac Katz</strong> (23/28 356 yards 4 TDs), <strong>Jorge Cascudo</strong> (6 Receptions 102 yards 2 TD), <strong>Jasen “JROC” Lopez</strong> (7 Receptions 124 yards 1TD), <strong>Robert Finlay</strong> (2 Receptions 50 yards 1 TD), <strong>Jacob Camacho</strong> (2 Kick Returns for 70 yards 1 TD, 1 Block Extra point and 6 tackles 1 sack) and Tristian Smith (5 tackles 2 Sacks).</p>

<p>Pensacola Catholic sophomore <strong>CJ Nettles</strong> ran for 236 yards and scored four touchdowns.</p>

<p>Clearwater Countryside sophomore QB <strong>John Angelo</strong> threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns and senior WR <strong>Terrence Jackson</strong> had seven catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns.</p>

<p>Plantation American Heritage senior LB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128731' first='David' last='Vadala']</strong>, one of the top tacklers in the state, had 10 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 tackles for loss.</p>

<p>Sneads standout QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='942487' first='Jason' last='Patterson']</strong> continued his amazing season as he ran for 301 yards on 19 and threw touchdowns.</p>

<p>Brooksville Central had a trio of top performers this week in <strong>Braden Joyner</strong> (junior QB – 13 of 20 for 217 yds, 4 TD passes, <strong>Caden Bergantino </strong>(senior WR 5 for 65 yds. 2 TD catches) and freshman WR <strong>Ethan Bergantino</strong> (3 catches for 50 yards and two scores.</p>

<p>Homestead Everglades Prep QB <strong>Thomas Aponte</strong> was 9 of 15 for 137 Yards, 2 TDs and a two-point conversion.</p>

<p>University of Florida-bound Gainesville Buchholz senior QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128356' first='Creed' last='Whittemore']</strong>, Buchholz threw five touchdown passes to keep the Bobcats undefeated and in the state playoff race.</p>

<p>Clearwater Calvary Christian had several impressive performers this week – sophomore RB <strong>Sean Cuono</strong> ran for 273 yards and two touchdowns and junior QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='275811' first='Jacob' last='Drackett']</strong> combined for 223 passing, 40 rushing and five touchdowns (four passing, one rushing). Sophomore WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='204114' first='Joshua' last='Robinson']</strong> chipped in with seven catches for 152 yards and two touchdowns.</p>

<p>QB <strong>Preston Wright</strong>, Ocala Trinity Catholic completed 28-of-34 passes for 338 yards and a touchdown. </p>

<p>One of the biggest success stories so far this season has been senior QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128064' first='Will' last='Prichard']</strong> and unbeaten Lantana Santulces. The Chiefs were 1-9 last year are 6-0 in 2022. Prichard, a West Palm Beach The King's Academy transfer, completed 15 passes for 238 and 3 more TDs. 20 TDs on the year!</p>

<p>Coconut Creek has one of the state's elite offensive lines – with junior <strong>Keon Daceus</strong> leading the way for the Cougars.</p>

<p>Boynton Beach Somerset Canyons 2025 athlete <strong>Waden Charles</strong> (2 Total TDs) 5 Receptions 142 Yards 1 TD, 1 Rush Attempt 42 Yards 1 TD ,4 Tackles.</p>

<p>The Trio of St. Petersburg Gibbs' standouts senior <strong>George Butler</strong> (six catches for 105 yards), junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128402' first='Sammy' last='Miller'] </strong>ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns and senior QB <strong>Caleb Morris</strong> threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns.</p>

<p>While it's been a tough year for St. Petersburg Catholic, they did receive an outstanding game from senior LB <strong>Chris Previtera</strong> (seven tackles and two sacks) and senior safety <strong>Nico Ritacca</strong> had a team-high 14 tackles.</p>

<p>It's been a banner year for Tampa Plant and the Panthers had some quality performers in Week 8. Senior LB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='336723' first='Devin' last='Andrews']</strong> had 15 tackles, including nine solo tackles, senior athlete <strong>Jaquez Kindell</strong> scored three touchdowns (rushing, receiving, kickoff return), had a two-point conversion and finished with 98 receiving yards and junior safety <strong>Brayden Sullivan</strong> had five tackles, a blocked punt and recorded a safety. </p>

<p>Vero Beach St. Edward's QB <strong>Dylan Redmon</strong> was 18-26 241 yards, 2 TDs Passing,6-52 yards Rushing, 1-62 Receiving TD and 355 total yards offensively. As a safety, he had 3 interceptions - one for a 32-yard pick 6. Receiver Sam Thomas 6-172 yards 2TD.</p>

<p><strong>Stephon Ross</strong> DeLand had 3 sacks, 6 tackles and 8 QB pressures.</p>

<p>Somerset Pembroke Pines 2025 QB <strong>Camden Hartzell</strong> completed 10 passes for 242, ran for 20 more and accounted for 5 TDs. 1830 passing yds with 23 passing TDs this season.</p>

<p>As Mount Dora has continued to play much better this season, running back <strong>Dante Johnson-Turner</strong> has been at the center of it on offense. His 238 yards and 3 touchdowns were huge for the Hurricanes.</p>

<p>Lutz Steinbrenner continues to roll along as senior LB <strong>Hayden Boever</strong> had five tackles and 1½ sacks, junior WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='404273' first='Andrew' last='Brinson']</strong> caught seven balls for a touchdown, junior QB <strong>Ty Robinson</strong> (259 yards and four touchdowns) and junior WR Demitrius Carter had eight catches for 143 yards and three touchdowns.</p>

<p>In moving to 8-0, Tampa Bay Tech looked to senior defensive linemen <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='381564' first='Antonio' last='Camon']</strong> (seven tackles, a half sack and an interception), senior safety <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128759' first='Norris' last='Davis']</strong> finished with six tackles and an interception, standout junior RB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='404265' first='Rod' last='Gainey']</strong> (190 yards and a touchdown) and junior LB <strong>Corey Lucius</strong> finished with 12 tackles.</p>
