Woodstown (5-0) vs Woodbury (5-1)
The undefeated Woodstown will take on high- powered Woodbury on Saturday morning. Woodstown is led by (Jr,RB) James Hill who is approaching is 1,000 yard mark of the season. The Wolverines have an outstanding offensive line that can play at the D-1 level. Woodbury will have their hands full up front but it will be a battle. On the other hand, Woodbury is capable in handing Woodstown their first loss of the season. Offensively, Woodbury has a balanced attack led by (Sr, QB) Bryan Johnson Bryan Johnson 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Woodbury | 2023 State NJ who has thrown for over 1,000 yards so far with 13 TD’s and one INT. On the ground, (Jr, RB) Anthony Reagan Anthony Reagan 5'7" | 175 lbs | ATH Woodbury | 2024 State NJ Jr tacked on 5 TD’s on the ground this year. Look for him to get going as well. Overall, this will be an interesting match up to see.
Vineland (2-3) vs Holy Spirit (5-1)
Vineland is looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Washington Township. The Fighting Clan are a tough team that fight to the end but a few costly mistakes made the difference in the outcome. (SO, QB) Dan Russo Dan Russo 6'1" | 220 lbs | RB Delsea | 2025 NJ leads Vineland in both passing and rushing yards. He is the focal point of this offense. Defensively, (So, DB) Zha’ Vian Diaz has been a difference maker in the secondary picking off two passes so far. On the other hand, Holy Spirit is a notorious powerhouse in South Jersey with college level talent on both sides of the ball. (Sr, QB) Sean Burns leads the Spartans under center throwing for 1,500 yards , 14 TD’s and 6 INT’s so far this season. Holy Spirit will look to keep Vineland on their toes to come away with the victory.
Millville (3-2) vs Shawnee (3-3)
Millville is coming off a tough loss last week to Lenape. Best believe the Thunderbolts will not take this game lightly and look to bounce back with a win. (So, WR) 4- star prospect Lotzier Brooks is having a impressive season hauling in 17 catches for 302 yards and 4 TD’s. Defensively, he picked off two passes. Millville will look to use their speed to come away with a win. Meanwhile, Shawnee is a very disciplined team that makes few mistakes. (Jr, QB) Joe Papa leads the team in both passing and rushing yards. This battle will come down to the team that makes the fewest mistakes.
Delsea (5-0) vs Cedar Creek (2-4)
Delsea Crusaders will look to remain undefeated to take on Cedar Creek. Delsea has a fantastic run game that has worked for generations. They are a team that sticks to the script and executes. Their offense consists of a three headed monster led by (Sr, RB) Jared Schoppe Jared Schoppe LB Delsea | 2023 NJ who leads the team with 6 TD’s. He his a hard nosed runner that will find the endzone. Cedar Creek will look to crowd the line of scrimmage to end their undefeated season. Although, Cedar Creek has a losing record they are a team that plays better than their shows.
